Simple - as the thread says. For me, it currently goes as such, but will probably change once college restarts, along with the new season of The Price is Right. Weekdays: Classics lineup until 12pm ET (Depends when I wake up for what show I start with) Karn Family Feud due to lack of other programming in the 12pm hour Now adding The Chase after watching it Tuesday Occasionally, might stop and watch an episode or two of Harvey if nothing else is on Weekends: Usually just Password Plus, maybe an episode of Whammy! just for the hell of it. Also tend to catch the 1am Sunday hour of $100,000 Pyramid.

Yeah... Depending on my (future) college schedule, I have no idea how much I'll watch.
After I left my childhood home, I didn't watch much in terms of GSN. Most of it is pretty much repetitive, so I might not get a chance to see something new (or what I want to see).

For those who don't have GSN and want to watch some of their original programming, I've noticed Bounce TV, which is seen in many local TV markets on a digital subchannel, is airing some of them, including Catch 21, Sherri's version of The Newlywed Game (which both get regular timeslots), and coming up soon, The American Bible Challenge. Also, I saw that Baggage is in local syndication too. Here on a different channel though during late nights.

I've kind of heard of that channel (Bounce). Didn't know that channel existed until I realized that I had a few classic TV channels somewhere in the 800s - COX, for those of you who don't know.

I remember Casey Abell bringing up that some religious channel had also picked up Bible Challenge shortly before the boards closed.

I'd be lucky to even get to watch Password Plus once or twice on the weekends. But given GSN's track record of rerunning the same episodes of shows I enjoy (though thankfully it's gone down a bit), Password Plus is pretty much all I watch at this time. If GSN gets to air the Bill Rafferty week of Super Password, I will consider - but then again, if it does happen, it will likely be during the Season 42 Premiere week of TPIR on CBS.
If GSN picks up something good in the fall (1985-86 Press Your Luck and/or Bob Eubanks' Card Sharks, to say the least), then I will resume my GSN recording; if not, then it's six months of recording and watching TPIR on CBS for me.

A lot of the stuff I watch is DVRed. Mainly Match Game, PYL, $ale, Pyramid, Password Plus, with the occasional Super Password Karn/O'Hurley Feud and Chain Reaction.
Oh and The Chase

I watch The Chase and that's really the only appointment time for me. Recently, GSN has deviated from the norm and they haven't aired as many good GAME SHOWS as I'd like, instead it's all about the Feud now. There's just too damn much of it for me.

Who is running advertising at GSN? Because whoever does sucks at it.
Anyone who didn't know about GSN would think the only three shows on are Harvey's Family Feud, Minute to Win It, and The Chase. Those shows get the same ads repeated many, many times a day. Meanwhile, the rest of the schedule gets basically next to no advertisement. The classics get absolutely nothing beyond a 15-second bumper for $ale of the Century at the end of Press Your Luck. Even the other Feuds are left out in the advertising dark.
Seriously GSN, would it sink you to do a 30-second ad for the classic block? Or if you're going to run Feud to death, at least give the others a turn in the spotlight.

Are the modern-day shows getting the bigger ratings? And how many people are going to be in front of a television watching game shows midday? Besides housewives, I mean. I don't blame the network for doing something like that. But if GSN had a shred of decency, they'd try to pimp out what few classics they air now.

I haven't been able to watch GSN in a while, so based on this post I'd take it they aren't airing promos for $ale of the Century anymore.
It's been an issue that I've had with GSN for years honestly. Shows like Harvey FF pay the bills, but it'd be nice to get at least a couple more promos for the other shows airing throughout the day, for variety's sake.

I don't have GSN right now but if I did I'd be watching Press Your Luck, Sale of the Century, and The Chase on a regular basis.

I agree with everybody about GSN's programming schedule and I think it would be cool and awesome if GSN could expand their lineup to include other game show favorites and not focus so much on Family Feud and GSN should limit Family Feud reruns to be shown at Midnight and 1AM. Ever since GSN started adding the Steve Harvey hosted Family Feud it seems that Family Feud is their most popular show and Steve Harvey is their most popular GSN star but I would like to see a better lineup for the morning and the weekend as well besides a whole hour of Family Feud. I think now that The Chase is such a hit for GSN and the Apolo Ohno version of Minute To Win It is the second biggest hit for GSN this year I think GSN will be taking a whole new direction by adding new game shows and reality shows and it proves that GSN really will be the top game show channel of cable TV this year. Another thing I have with GSN is why do they put the classic shows way too early at 6AM because I find it annoying that people simply don't get up just to see their classic game shows. Take for instance I liked Press Your Luck but why get up at 7AM just to see it and this reason I can't figure out and GSN did the same thing with Sale Of The Century as well. I would love to see shows like the Monty Hall Let's Make A Deal and Greed and The Weakest Link being brought back to GSN instead of Family Feud and The Chase in the 10AM spot that Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader has and with a lineup like this GSN would make a fortune and expand their audience a lot to other favorite game shows, Kelsey

As I mentioned before in this post GSN should really expand their channel to include other favorite game shows in their lineup and if I were president of GSN this would be my fantasy programming schedule to make GSN get top ratings in TV channels, 6:00AM Card Sharks, 6:30AM Password, 7:00-7:30AM Wheel Of Fortune {1989-1995} season, 8:00-8:30AM Password Plus, 9:00AM Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader, 9:30 AM Tic-Tac Dough, 11:00-11:30 AM Let's Make A Deal{Wayne Brady Season 1}, 12PM-12:30 PM Double Catch 21 episodes, 1:00 PM-1:30 PM The Chase, 2PM Chain Reaction, 3:00 PM -3:30 PM The Pyramid, At 10 AM-10:30 I would put Lingo in that time because it would be so easy for game show fans to watch. And Family Feud would be shown at 2AM in place of paid programming and the nighttime hour would consist of Hollywood Squares Who Wants To Be A Millionaire The Newlywed Game and end with Minute To Win It and shows like Baggage and Press Your Luck and Whammy and Jeopardy would be seen on weekends instead of Dog Eat Dog. And with an impressive lineup GSN would bring a whole new world of game show fans everywhere and get GIANT ratings to the network indeed, Would you agree?, Kelsey

11:00-11:30 AM Let's Make A Deal{Wayne Brady Season 1} No for a variety of reasons. The show is a full hour, not a half hour. And GSN probably wouldn't want to stick anything like Brady's LMAD to compete with TPIR.
