I would have to say the show that should get a second chance on GSN is the original Let's Make A Deal because Monty Hall is a really wonderful star and with the popular Wayne Brady version of Let's Make A Deal a hit on CBS GSN should really give the original Let's Make A Deal a second chance, Kelsey

I'd say a revival of "Second Chance" since not a lot of people saw the predecessor of both Whammy and PYL. Would be nice to have all three shows, but I know the original doesn't exist anymore. Damn you ABC

Past editions of the current version of "The Price is Right" that were produced before Drew Carey became its host.

Definitely the black & white stuff. Surely the 3am ET hour can't be that valuable to GSN...

Anyone else been having problems with GSN's audio? First noticed it during $ale of the Century - a commercial for Nutrisystem came on, and the audio suddenly grew quieter and rather garbled. The same thing just happened now during Shop 'Til You Drop.

It also happened during the transition from Super Password into $100,000 Pyramid. I agree, it is annoying. But at least it doesn't happen all the time. And I should be thankful it happened during programming I am not overly interested in. It could be worse - if GSN were to air a new-to-GSN Press Your Luck episode from late 1985 to 1986 someday and the audio was quieter and garbled as it was airing.
Makes me wonder if weather was to blame for such audio problems?

When I was watching Catch 21 on GSN I didn't have any audio difficulties and it was perfectly fine. It must've been your television that had the problem because I rarely get audio troubles on my GSN channel but when I do it causes the audio to be really REALLY loud, Kelsey

Okay, so this appears to be a persistent problem whenever they air that Nutrisystem My Way ad. Sound is continuously dropping out into that garbled crap.

I just went to check things on my end, only to discover -- to my surprise and alarm -- that my cable provider has suddenly decided to drop GSN without warning. A quick check online revealed that it, along with the soon-to-be-kiled-off SoapNET, was dropped about two weeks ago, which tells you how much chance I've had lately to watch TV.
It does sound like there's a problem with that one ad, however, and it's not necessarily a GSN-exclusive thing.

Sorry to hear that Kid. :/ My cable provider at home has actually been pretty good to GSN, it's currently on our basic cable at channel 67.

This is what I would do to the GSN schedule.
I would add more classics (80s Wheel of Fortune, 80s Jeopardy, Scrabble, etc...)
I would add more modern shows (5th Grader, Cash Cab, Lingo, etc...)
I would remove non-exciting shows (Baggage, Love Triangle, The Newlywed Game, etc...)
I would reduce the number of timeslots for Steve Harvey's Family Feud.
This is what I would do to the GSN schedule.
What would you do?

I would be very angry if GSN got dropped as well too? When I watch Catch 21 on GSN and that Nutrisystem commercial airs I don't get sound troubles with my TV and it's fine, Kelsey

If I ran GSN the way I would design the schedule each day would be, 1. Put Family Feud at 1AM-2AM and put 1 Vs 100 in it's 11PM-11:30PM slot, 2. Return Deal Or No Deal to GSN, 3. Show more Chuck Woolery shows like Love Connection and Greed, 4. Make Press Your Luck be shown at 12PM, 5. Have marathons in honor of game show hosts that are no longer alive on their birthdays, 6. Bring back The Weakest Link, 7. Show Season 1 of Wayne Brady's Let's Make A Deal, 8. Bring a new version of GSN Live to GSN, 9. Make a new version of Playmania, That would be my schedule idea for GSN and it would work wonders indeed, Kelsey

Put Dawson and Combs Feud back on the schedule, maybe replacing those O'Hurley 1pm showings. New PYL episodes. Take a run at Supermarket Sweep to pair it with STYD. Restore Black & White Overnight. Get rid of some of those moldy originals off weekend daytime - I mean really, Whammy! is still airing? Revive Chain Reaction, it's getting the numbers in daytime reruns.
