You didn't just have Pat Sajak in that movie, you also had Art Fleming and William Shatner. That movie was truly a game show lover's paradise. Shatner should not be included because he did not officially host a game show though in a technical sense, he did host "Funniest Game Show Moments" in 1984 that featured several game show guests. He hosted Show Me The Money.

How about John Michael Higgins in the commercials about retirements that were shown during the NL playoff games on TBS. Does anyone know what commercial line I'm referring to? JMH was also in the Jim Carrey movie “Yes Man”.

He hosted Show Me The Money. Wow! I never even heard of that show and since it aired only for one month a week at a time, it's no wonder I hadn't known of it. So yes, you are correct. My apologies.

Alex Trebek also had a role on "Sesame Street" in Season 37, if I recall.
Vanna White also appeared in a commercial for York Peppermint Pattie in 1987, if I recall.

I've been listening to the old radio episodes of Guiding Light that are available, and Bud Collyer was the announcer and narrator. He did the commercials too.

I just realized that Pat Kiernan has not been mentioned. I first encountered him in 2006, as the host of the "World Series of Pop Culture".
His work as a local cable anchor on NY1 has earned him numerous cameos in movies and TV.
