Reading the '74 episode guide as I speak. How far into the show are they at? Tonight they should start with week 7 with: Steve Allen & Jayne Meadows, Jack and Doe Narz, and Jo Anne Worley and Roger Perry. Roger Perry is probably best known for his recurring role as Mr. Parker on The Facts of Life. Thanks. I'm probably going to ask for some requests later on down the road. (I'm awful. No Buzzr.)

Catching up on week 6, which had Betty White & Allen Ludden, Chuck Woolery & Jo Ann Pflug, and Bill & Ann Cullen. [...] There are some really fun and interesting moments that happened this week. Oh yeah, definitely...although I might be kinda biased since 1) I got the shows from Matt Ottinger and 2) they're master copies with slates and commercials.

They're showing the first 2 episodes tonight again. Hmm. I don't get that.

Makes me wish I was available for trading right now... I haven't traded in a long time, anyway, mainly since I don't have a really good computer nor any way to duplicate DVDs. Besides, if anything I'd prefer to try and convert my tape collection to DVD, and even then the stuff I taped myself is mostly first-run stuff between 2005-09. As for the Tattletales disc, that was among a total of eight Bill Cullen-related discs Matt sent me as a reward for helping him with his Bill Cullen tribute site before it relaunched a few years back. That said, the only things that aren't in common circulation are the Tattletales masters and (IIRC) the second and fourth episodes of How Do You Like Your Eggs?

Tattletales is back where it's supposed to be on Buzzr with Jack & Doe Narz, Jo Anne Worley & Roger Perry, and Steve Allen & Jayne Meadows.
I love the little things you learn about the celebs on this show. For example, Joyce Bulifant stole a duck from a restaurant after a bad night and Jo Anne Worley bought a suit with funny pockets in it from a guy with a car trunk of them.

So has the show moved any at all since the last post? I'm curious how far behind we are as compared to if Buzzr wasn't rerunning the same few weeks constantly.

Week #7 is the week with Jack Narz, Jo Anne Worley and Steve Allen, et. al.
Checking right now on the TV and they're starting week #9 with Alejandro Rey, Orson Bean, and Bobby Van. Week #12 with Pat Harrington, Allen Ludden and Betty White, and Gavin MacLeod is where they stopped before starting at the beginning yet again. I'm looking at the episode guide and Greg Morris is featured on week #13 and I know I haven't seen him on the show on Buzzr yet. That's where we should be when we get back to fresh episodes.

Finally catching up on this show now that I have some time. I see my TiVo deleted most of week #13 and #14 before I got to watch it, but hey, Buzzr repeats everything so I ain't even mad. I also mistakenly said Greg Morris was on #13; he was on week #14.
Glenn Ford and Cynthia Hayward who were featured on the 15th week after that were engaged at this time; not yet married. This seems to be the first week where this happens.
The following week (#16) features David Ladd and his wife Cheryl Stoppelmoor (as listed on the guide), better known as Cheryl Ladd, who eventually went on to play Kris Munroe on Charlie's Angels 3 years later after Farrah Fawcett left. Cheryl and David divorced in 1980. Week #16 is also the final week with the buzz-in format.

Watching the Tattletales week that just aired on Buzzr recently with Bobby Van & Elaine Joyce, Monty Hall & his wife Marilyn, and Donald Ross & Patti Deustch; and I love the coincidence of one of the questions asked. A question was asked that if one of the three men could switch careers and do something else that the other husbands are famous for (e.g. Monty the game show host, Donald the writer, Bobby the dancer). This was about a full year before Bobby Van hosted his first game show in Showoffs. Elaine Joyce guessed that Bobby wanted to be a game show host like Monty Hall. Bobby had the same answer in mind and they got the question right!

The Walter J. Brown Media Archives & Peabody Awards Collection website has an episode of Tattletales from the original broadcast from January 9, 1978 and it features Betty White & Allen Ludden, Patrick Duffy, and Bill Anderson.
ETA: It's actually two episodes. I'm guessing the first one is from 1/9.

And for Syndication with this lineup, it was #N-19.
I suspect taping was just like Match Game PM.
