Find it on YT and link to it here. I'll shoot GSN another tweet to show them the ad in question. Unfortunately, this was the only one I was able to find: www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCsi7wnNUrUI don't think it's the right one though. Someone here should take a camera and record the problem. Sadly, I don't have a camera on me. Just a crappy laptop webcam that doesn't record audio all too well.

The Nutrisystem fastway ad just played and the audio was perfectly fine. I think it's probably some weather-type issue. I recorded Bill Cullen's Blockbusters a short time ago (was probably some time last week), and the NutriSystem My Way ad did air during one of the commercial breaks. No audio problems were prevalent. What I wonder is, do you suppose there were two versions of such My Way commercials? Some products have two versions of commercials to promote such product. For a while, Swiffer had two or more versions of their commercials on the air, and the ads ran for a certain period of time (I don't know what happened to the Swiffer commercials as of lately). If there were two versions of the NutriSystem My Way ads, then GSN has to do away with the one that causes audio problems. But then again, if NutriSystem paid money to advertise on GSN programming for a certain period of time, GSN has to run those ads until the time has expired. I bet, come the spring, there'll likely be a new set of ads for NutriSystem and by then hopefully the audio problems will be non-prevalent. I sure do hope that GSN does away with the Nutrisystem ad that's been causing the audio problems as well.

There it is again. Looks like it's the ad that starts off with someone cutting a pea with a knife followed by an unhappy scale.

Apparently YT doesn't have the commercial up. Does anyone record shows on DVR? Put it up.

It appears today that the Nutrisystem commercial no longer airs on GSN and there is a new commercial in it's place also by Nutrisystem but it appears the audio problems with GSN are fixed. I saw this during today's Catch 21 episode and I had no troubles with the audio on my GSN channel, Kelsey

there is a new commercial in it's place also by Nutrisystem but it appears the audio problems with GSN are fixed. There are multiple ads by Nutrisystem. Airing a different ad doesn't replace the fact that the one in question will pop up in again.

My Ideas for GSN
1. Bring Back Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune to the Schedule 2. Cut off Steve Harvey Family Feud 3. Add More Classics!

I had audio troubles with GSN this morning during Catch 21 and it's a new commercial that's causing it this time with Eggo Waffles and then when the Eggo Waffles commercial ended and Catch 21 came back the audio was fine. Hopefully when the Eggo Waffles commercial is shown the audio will not have troubles with GSN I hope, Kelsey

It appears to be the My Way ad with the clapping. I so wish I had a way to show it.

And GSN just had a sound problem completely unrelated to the My Way ad. It makes me wonder what the hell GSN is using for their audio because this is just plain bad and unprofessional.

Well would you look at that. What luck. A guy I'm subscribed to on Youtube uploaded the issue. The video quality is crap, but at least it's something. Take a look: www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZChMa9jg_IMandoli, now is your chance to show this problem to GSN's Twitter. I know it's not the best quality, but it's better than nothing.

My ideas on how to spice up GSN's lineup:
- Pick up a 21st century season of Wheel of Fortune, preferrably the 2008-09 season which has the first million dollar winner.
- Pick up the rights to the remainder of 1985 and at least part of 1986 of Press Your Luck that was never shown on the network as yet.
- Pick up at least the rest of 1986 of Eubanks' Card Sharks, and eventually pick up the 1987 episodes, as they have never been shown in over a decade!
- Pick up the rights to so many episodes of Davidson's Hollywood Squares, even though it's a long shot.
- Pick up the rights to at least the final 60 episodes of Rafferty's Blockbusters - at least it will continue from where GSN left off in 2009, though not intentionally on GSN's part.
- Pick up the rights to Ray Combs' Family Feud. Most certainly the CBS episodes and eventually Family Feud Challenge.
If even just one of those were to happen, I'd be happy. I bet if any of the above were to happen sooner, it would be either the remainder of 1986 of Eubanks' Card Sharks, or late-1985 and early-1986 Press Your Luck.

I got a Twitter account finally. I went ahead and sent GSN a tweet. They replied with this:
"We have been watching for it, and it doesn't effect our audio. Who is your provider?"
They seriously replied with that. Of course, I told them I have DirecTV and I added onto it with describing the problem more. GSN hasn't replied back since. Someone else might have to convince GSN to do something.

I have the same kind of issue, but my provider is BellAliant. I am not sure if BellAliant and DirecTV are under the same parent company, and if it is, this may be a problem with the parent company that may need to be fixed.
If GSN doesn't notice a problem with the audio, then it's safe to say it's the provider that's at fault.
All I can say is, thankfully, the ads will go away eventually. I hope that, if GSN picks up the rights to different new-to-GSN Press Your Luck episodes or another classic show I find interesting, I hope I can record the episodes without the crappy audio interfering with the beginning of a segment of the show, otherwise I will have to record on the second cycle. Of course, if GSN doesn't pick up the rights to new-to-GSN Press Your Luck or Eubanks' Card Sharks, then I won't even have to worry about the crappy audio interfering, because I'll eventually be back to recording The Price is Right on CBS if GSN doesn't air anything good in terms of classics.
