pyramidfan I'm trying to figure out who were the Celebrity Children who played on the ABC run in 1974. I know that the respective mothers of Susan Oliver and Betty White played (Ruth Hale Oliver and Tess White). I'm almost certain both of Richard Dawson's sons with Diana Dors (Mark & Gary) played. Traci Wald (daughter of Helen Reddy & Jeff Wald) probably also played. I think all of Bert Convy's children played, as did all of Greg Morris' children. And probably both of Harvey Korman's kids and Joyce Builfant's kids (MacArthur), too. I'm not sure if all four of Jack Cassidy's kids (including Shaun & David) played or not. I'd like to know for sure so that there won't be any misinformation for the episode guide.

Unfortunately, I don't have all of that information. I do know that there are pictures from that week on Getty Images, though.

I was looking forward to seeing Jenilee Harrison on Super Password and she did not disappoint now that Buzzr got around to airing her first episode. I didn't realize this was her first time on the show. She was very funny and ran the gamut from doing really badly to really well to just mediocre. Giving cheerleading-related clues for "drill" was a mistake based on a bias to her own life experience. Guessing "rabbit" for Peter was a masterstroke. And she was funny and beautiful throughout. Can't wait to see the rest of her episodes.

It was NOT her first time on Password; she played in Christmas 1981 with James B. Sikking, but GSN skipped it, possibly per Sikking's request.

Convy said it was her first time on the show and she didn't disagree. They may have been referring to Super Password only. She acted like she didn't know how to play at all but maybe that was just an act for laughs. Password was mentioned all the time on Password Plus, but my memory of Super Password is that they almost never mention the past iterations of the show and just act like they don't exist. I never saw the early Super Password episodes so I don't know if they mentioned it more in the beginning. Maybe they mention that Allen Ludden was the previous host when Betty White is on, I don't remember.

Marcia Wallace and Bill Cullen were the guests and Bill even mentioned his fill-in for Allen as guest host weeks. You'll see what I mean jedijones if/when you search for that week's episodes on Amazon Prime.

Convy said it was her first time on the show and she didn't disagree. I mean, she had so much going on that it could be possible that she just happened to forget that she spent a single day taping five episodes of a game show in 1981? I don't think this really deserved the weird Zapruder film-esque analysis we've been giving it.

I don't think this really deserved the weird Zapruder film-esque analysis we've been giving it. I agree with you 100%; but I also know some people here live to overanalyze everything humanly possible where game shows are concerned, and it gets exhausting to deal with at times.

Which exact episode is this? I know this is #455-#459 (October 07-10; 13, 1980), and was Allen's third-to-last week.

Vahan, there are 2 sources for you to pinpoint, check out the episodes from this week that Adam Curry uploaded or check out the episode list from Ryan Rinkerman's game show collection.

Ryan's collection only has two episodes from that week.

Ryan's collection only has two episodes from that week. So there's a total of 3 episodes from this week but you also have to find out if Brandon Bolton(aka excuseyou77) has the entire week of episodes as well. Or from Ryan Rinkerman's collection, use the tape source next to the episode, to make things easier.

I have this episode noted as 10/9/1980 from Adam’s upload at youtube.com/watch?v=YKlYd48u-4E, it comes from a 2007-08 GSN rerun

Yesterday, I saw the August 26, 1985 broadcast (Monday episode of the Gloria Loring and Dick Gautier week) of "Super Password" on GameTV. I noticed there was no Ca$hword round in sight. After the $200 puzzle, there was some brief interaction and then they went right to switching players without seeing the Ca#hword round. Did they forget to play the Ca$hword on that episode, or was that playing edited out by Fremantle for some reason beyond the company's control?
I do remember seeing a comment on some website where a Ca$hword playing was edited out due to the word in play being sensitive in this day and age.
Also, I just checked the "Super Password" episode guide on Game Shows Wiki. It looks like it's drastically revised, as the celebrity information and other information related to the show is now gone.

I looked it up, and the Ca$hword that day was "Minstrel."
