I'd like to ask, what are the ratings figures for Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. as of most recently? I'd be interested to find out how Jim Perry's Card Sharks did on GSN. I'm guessing it's doing well otherwise it would be gone by now. I sent Douglas a tweet. I'm curious too. |

GSN Ratings 8/12: Skin Wars was very impressive while Idiotest went from just OK at 10:03pm to a series low (in total viewers) at 10:38pm. Douglas Pucci provided the numbers for the new shows on GSN's daytime schedule for November 21... GSN 11/21, in total viewers (adults 18-49) 10:00a Whammy 202K (27K) 11:00a Wheel of Fortune 149K (25K) 11:30a Wheel of Fortune 161K (22K) 12:00 Wheel of Fortune 146K (16K) 12:30 Wheel of Fortune 177K (19K) 3:30 Chain Reaction-Catherwood 295K (29K) 4:00 The Chase 239K (23K) WoF isn't doing well at all, though it doesn't look bad compared to Window Whatever (faint praise). The other shows are so-so. None of the shows get any 18-49 viewers, but that's pretty normal for GSN daytime. |

I'd like to ask, what are the ratings for Press Your Luck as of lately? I'd like to know how the 1984 episodes are doing in the ratings.
I also discovered the Twitter page Casey linked to a few posts back no longer exists.

My first post of the new year! Just added this bit to the weekly ratings entry on the blog... GSN averaged 439K viewers in prime time for 2016 (or almost all of the year). That was up a smidge from 2015's 423K. GSN's prime time numbers started strong in 2016 but tailed off in the fourth quarter with losers like Hellevator, Scare Tactics and Window Whatever.
Really, it's not bad for any cable network nowadays to increase its audience year-to-year. So GSN had a pretty good 2016, though the latter part of the year did fall off. Of course, GSN prime time is mostly but not all Harvey Feud. |
