I can see the Bud Collyer era of To Tell the Truth ending up on there soon. I'm kind of surprised at this moment it's not on there. I imagine that will soon change. I could also see $ale of the Century and Now You See it ending up on there. Same with Bill Rafferty's Card Sharks. As much as I'd love to see a good majority of Vahan's list, I don't think we'll be seeing much of anything on there that Buzzr hasn't already aired. I'd love to be wrong. We would have gotten the Chuck Henry version of NYSI there, too, but Chuck Henry doesn't wait it aired. Fremantle has to legally keep it locked away in the vaults. Which is a shame, because he did a great job as M.C.

I'm kind of doubtful (I said kind of) that Let's Make a Deal will end up on that list. I'm not sure why it was pulled from the lineup, but for some reason that seems to be the one show that Buzzr has aired which won't turn up on there. Once again, I'd love to be wrong.
I also wonder if they'll add more episodes to what's already on there (like more episodes of Match Game 75 for instance)

I know I'm comparing apples and oranges here, but there have been TV shows in recent years that were cancelled after one or two airings, and the remaining unaired episodes were put online. So who knows if Wordplay will be on Fremantle's streaming service or not? But better there than nowhere.
Anyways, that's about all I have to say about that subject.

I'm just gonna say I'm going to be pleasantly surprised if any Wordplay shows up on the list.

But the fact that they did air it for 2 years makes me wonder. Just sayin...

A certain group (I'm not saying who or where they are, out of respect for their privacy) says CBS couldn't have asked the older versions of LMAD to be pulled from Buzzr or GSN, because then, they would have had them pulled from YouTube, too.
Well, guess what: Two producers who worked on the TPIR DVD for BCI officially confirmed that Bob Barker had a ton of pull in selecting the episodes for the DVD, making sure everything was "Bob-approved" (meaning no furs and no shows with certain models). Despite all of this, Barker isn't requesting any episodes with those things he doesn't want taken down from YouTube.

A certain group (I'm not saying who or where they are, out of respect for their privacy) says CBS couldn't have asked the older versions of LMAD to be pulled from Buzzr or GSN, because then, they would have had them pulled from YouTube, too. Except that some episodes did get smacked down by BBTV_Fremantle, most notably from the 1984-86 run. Two producers who worked on the TPIR DVD for BCI officially confirmed that Bob Barker had a ton of pull in selecting the episodes for the DVD, making sure everything was "Bob-approved" (meaning no furs and no shows with certain models). And even that wasn't infallible. As explained here, two episodes with Dian got through "because everyone forgot she was on them". As I remember, BCI had asked Barker to allow the barred shows from the first week on the set, offering to add disclaimers to them and/or make a donation to the DJ&T Foundation. Despite all of this, Barker isn't requesting any episodes with those things he doesn't want taken down from YouTube. Probably because by all indication, he's computer-illiterate and likely doesn't know what YouTube is. And even if that isn't the case, I'm pretty sure taking down anything he didn't like would get him a ton of backlash.

When GSN pulled the show from the lineup in May 2009, and with the debut of the current version on CBS, I totally thought that CBS had banned reruns of the show anywhere.
But considering Buzzr ran the show for 2 years still makes me wonder. Also, the first year they only ran the 1970's syndicated version. Then in the second year they ran the 1984-1985 season. Then as the third year of the network began, the show disappeared (with the exception of the Monty Hall tribute which ran both).
So at this point, I really don't know what to think.

I could [have] sworn I read somewhere that Dian wore a brown wig on the episodes that got through by mistake? Maybe that's why everyone "forgot she was on them." And that'd be a good reason if one of the two shows wasn't the 11/3/75 episode, where Dian joined the cast permanently (and no longer wore said wig, since Anitra had been back with the show for at least a week).

I saw Supermarket Sweep's episodes being listed on there and I sure wish I could get some Supermarket Sweep episodes or a season of Supermarket Sweep for my birthday but I'm glad I discovered them today Kelsey
