The April 28, 1978 episode featured the Wagner family, and the October 5, 1979 episode featured the Johnson family. The October 5th 1979 episode that's on Adam Curry's YouTube channel m.youtube.com/watch?v=FwuqmOArDBMThe October 5th 1979 episode aired on GSN appears to be a December 2005 airing, because it has a promo for “A Betty White Christmas”, and one of those clips is from Family Feud’s Game Show Hosts Week.

GSC, can you please post the rest of your guide for the Dawson Feuds? I'm trying to keep track of which episodes I've seen or missed on Buzzr or web sites and this would help a great deal. I can't believe there isn't already a complete episode guide out there with contestants' names for the original run like there is for Press Your Luck. The below web site has a lot of episode guides and a small portion of Combs' episodes, but nothing for Dawson's. If I can figure out how to get a new page started there I'd like to try to add your data on the Dawson episodes to this site. gameshows.fandom.com/wiki/Family_Feud/CBS/Episode_Guide

Feud's only had, as a quick estimate, about 9000 episodes between the Dawson network and syndie(over 3000), Combs network and syndie(over 2000), primetime specials between ABC and NBC(less than 100), and 21 years of the current syndie run(about 3500).

Danny, there was another celebrity Syndicated Feud special you forgot to mention. It was something of a "Boxing" special. Not sure if it was a week, or if it was just this one episode.

This boxing week on Feud is from the 1984-85 season, since the 1984 Summer Olympics are mentioned.

Does anyone know if this episode has aired on GSN?
It was 1976, and it was the Smith family, episode taped in November '76. They were on for 2 shows, and the head of the family is distinguishable by the cast he had on his leg at the time.
I am thinking it was either the following:
Staggs/Smith Smith/Morfin Hourning/Smith Smith/Mullet

Vahan, if I click on, for example, 1980 or 1981 ABC Episodes, it tells me the section does not exist. I do see the 1976 season is started which looks very good. What can we do to get all the episodes Buzzr does air written into this guide? That would be a start. 54 of them that I know of can be seen on Stirr on-demand right now and we know Buzzr airs 10 a week. The air dates are not broadcast though. That's the missing piece that I hoped could be provided by the Game Show man who posted the dates from some of the earlier years that Buzzr does not air. If we have that, we can work on this guide with air-dates and family names. I think just getting the dates and family names in the guide is all that's important to start. Filling in the detailed comments on each episode can be done later, or during periods when no information on missing episodes to add can be found. I want to help out on this and can watch Buzzr, Stirr and search YouTube for information. There are great guides out there for PYL, Password Plus, Super Password, Tattletales, etc. While most of those shows feature celebrities which people seem more interested in tracking in guides, PYL has normal people just like Feud. So Feud deserves the same kind of guide. Especially the Dawson Feud which as we know was the #1 game show for years, award-winning, a fixture in pop culture far more than PYL ever was, and the start of a neverending franchise. No one should be daunted by the fact that there are 3,000 episodes. Every little bit that gets contributed helps. And once people see there is a guide out there being worked on, they may help fill in those gaps.

Richard gives away the airdate of October 18, 1977, #77-183, by announcing that it's Howard Felsher's birthday. I thought there was a Rona Barrett special that preempted it in April? So I guess #77-119 aired on July 20 then?
