From December 28, 1987 to the end of the run, each episode had a contestant/ticket plug followed by one parting gift. Sometimes, there'd be some chit chat between Bert and the players leading up to that.
This week also aired on GSN in November 2007, if I remember correctly.

Sometimes, there'd be some chit chat between Bert and the players leading up to that. This week also aired on GSN in November 2007, if I remember correctly. That really drives me nuts. In addition, do you realize they were trying to make each episode of Super Password self-contained? How could you make it that way? All of the other NBC game shows were self-contained.

Obviously they don't do that anymore. The reason I asked is that I've experienced a recording/editing glitch in the past, and with the wide variety of runtimes listed above, I wanted to make sure it hasn't happened again.

NBC game shows had no end of show fee plugs in 1988, they were down to one fee plug per show, and none were done right before the closing credits. Only Super Password did the fee plug right after a contestant/ticket plug, and Win Lose or Draw never had any fee plugs during its network run, even in 1987 when the other NBC game shows did still have them. The Summer 1991 CLassic Concentration episodes posted on Youtube a few years ago ran 21 minutes, and since they didn't have end of show voiceovers, appear to be studio masters(though there were no slates on any of them)

Classic Concentration is already being refreshed after ONLY 3 months, starting 8/23. Episode 542 will be skipped.
For Body Language, 324 and 326 are skipped.
Also, #0532 was scheduled to air on 6/14/89, and #0533 was scheduled to air on 6/16/89. Guess that Tennis game on 6/9 was a last minute change.

Also, #0532 was scheduled to air on 6/14/89, and #0533 was scheduled to air on 6/16/89. Guess that Tennis game on 6/9 was a last minute change. Regarding Classic Concentration on 6/9/1989, this was the date of the Men's Semi-Finals for the French Open. NBC likely moved their coverage window to 10 AM (in all time zones, and live ET) to show Michael Chang's semi-final match against Andrei Chesnokov.
This was Chang's run to his only Major title (where he became the youngest ever French Open Men's champion at age 17), which was big news in the United States since Chang was an American with Chinese heritage, and the Tiananmen Square protests were ongoing at the same time (The iconic "Tank Man" photo was taken on June 5th.).
Chang was not expected to do well at the tournament, but his dramatic five-set, fourth round victory over Ivan Lendl on June 5th is the stuff of legend. Chang was a heavy underdog, and was suffering so badly from cramps during the match that he caught Lendl off guard with underhand serves. The AP called it "one of the most dramatic matches in French Open History".
With newspapers across the US prominently reporting on Tiananmen Square on the front page, and Chang in the Sports section, NBC wanted to capitalize on that interest by showing Chang's match live on June 9th.
