I see that To Tell the Truth from 9:PM-10:PM/et goes back to '73. Hopefully to the beginning of the 1973-74 season and not the episode with the lady with the fastest draw. Tonight it resets/resumes at #179-2, which is at the tail end of 1973. They once ran the first 4 of 1973 (#148-1) on the weekend, then skipped massively ahead. The new 4AM run only has six weeks of material from where it starts until it either dispenses fresh or resets some place else. Fresh would have to be from another year, as all of 73 & 74 has now aired.

I KNEW Buzzr would skip #665-#667 of Press Your Luck, and if they will skip them, then they will probably skip #676-#678, too. I had very low expectations.
Though in contrast, I was highly expecting them to show #565, and instead, they skipped it.

Considering some missing $ale OTC eps surfaced recently on Buzzr (Halloween eps and others) that GSN/Buzzr both skipped prior, MAYBE we'll see something similar. Not holding my breath, but always possible.

Not holding my breath, but always possible. I'm wondering if GSN converted these 1986 episodes way back in 2001, despite not showing them until 2014? It's been said that GSN's digibeta tapes had three episodes each. If episode 1 is damaged, the entire tape is skipped, if 2 is damaged, the last two are skipped, and if 3 is damaged, the last one is skipped. Yet #665-#667 doesn't fit anywhere with a multiple of 3.

Hopefully Family Feud 1983 returns one of these days. Sad that it's completely off the weekday schedule still

Remember how #311-313 and #324-325 of Match Game 74 are skipped by GSN and Buzzr because they're lost? Well, these also don't fit into multiples of three. If we were go by multiples of three for episodes #301-330, this is what we would end up with on each of the DigiBeta tapes:
#301-303 #304-306 #307-309 #310-312 #313-315 #316-318 #319-321 #322-324 #325-327 #328-330 Going by the logic you've given in your post, wouldn't GSN and Buzzr skip #314-#315 and #326-327 as well? I know #31-33 from MG73 are lost too, but 33 is a multiple of three, so everything checks out there. Also, how come we ended up in a situation where it seems that GSN would have grouped #301-330 of Match Game 74 like this on the DigiBeta tapes:
#299-301
#302-304
#305-307
#308-310 #311-313 #314-316 #317-319 #320-322 #323-325
#326-328 #329-331 That would explain #311-313 being lost, but not how #324-325 are lost, as #323 still exists of course. Something is not right there. Getting back to your message, I wonder if #665-667 of Press Your Luck are lost episodes too?

Last night's airings of Supermarket Sweep were from the last 2 episodes of the Twin Car Giveaway instead of the 2000 episodes. Maybe with any luck this is a good sign.

They were not fresh. They were these ones shown on Buzzr about 3 or 4 times before.

matchthestars I'm fine. I was merely comparing one situation where I had low expectations, and another where I had high ones.

Glad to see some of our favorites return. They are blowing through Classic Concentration, almost there!!! Has Buzzr ever aired (Rafferty) Blockbusters? Also, I'm curious to find out why GSN and now Buzzr skip #665-667 of PYL. S/O to USA for airing them I guess. Thanks djryguy for the update! Rafferty Blockbusters has not made its debut on Buzzr yet. For PYL, episode 665 is nowhere to be found currently (the data for it is recorded in the guide) but there are USA recordings of episodes 666 and 667 on Youtube, perhaps we’ll see 665 uploaded if it turns out to be in the circuit, ditto with 676-678 (there is a partial recording of 677 online though it’s in rough shape) Classic Concentration has less than 100 episodes left to rerun with the show’s last week already featured on Buzzr. It is great to see the Narz Concentration back although it appears to be the previously seen episodes from 1976 instead of a brand new batch I am recording Classic Concentration episodes 970-973 today and I can't wait to upload them to YouTube and share with y'all! I betcha my bottom pound we're gonna see if Grady can win a car this time (episode 972?), and also if Larry will get his revenge on Nelson (episode 973)...

Though in contrast, I was highly expecting them to show #565, and instead, they skipped it. I will say this though, you never know if 665-667 and 676-678 of PYL will air in the future. Buzzr does several special marathons a year and you never know if they might be included. Plus, sometimes Buzzr sneaks in episodes that were previously skipped and airs them down the road (IE late October/early November 1988 of NBC SOTC). We all thought that Buzzr was never going to air the SOTC episodes with Phil Cambry's car win or his $50k try along (along with a few eps before and after that) or that GSN/Buzzzr would never air the Valerie Bertinelli MG 78 episodes as well. Well, they did (at least GSN so far has aired the Bertinelli episodes of MG 78). A recent example also includes the 12/11/85 episode of TPIR that The Barker Era originally skipped and later aired. Keep up the power of positive thinking. You never know what Buzzr will air down the road. Plus, there is no proof (at the present) that 665-667 and 676-678 of PYL are damaged beyond repair or lost.

I trust Adam 100 percent as he has been a trading partner since 2003 and is a great media expert and he is someone who is very knowledgeable as well. I still think that is is possible that those 6 missing PYL episodes will air sometime. We might have to wait a while for them to air like we did for the late October/early November 1988 NBC SOTC episode and the Valerie Bertinelli episodes of MG 78. Keep thinking positively Vahan.
