I've never figured out Buzzr's logic with the bizarre scheduling. Sounds similar to what they did with Family Feud '85 in 2019. They were airing every episode in order each night then got to the final 2 months of Dawson's run and randomly started 1980-81 and ran those into the ground for a couple years I don't think anybody has figured it out.

snowpeck For sure. The intro and credits of Buzzr's Halloween copy is totally different. GSN's copy is the keeper. I can't remember USA's. USA's cut was the exact same as GSN's. Buzzr's version actually runs 2 minutes shorter.

OK, I figured it out. Buzzr is trying to drive us crazy with it's unexplainable scheduling. I just noticed that today (9/25/24) was the last of the "new" Price Is Rights. The 4 pm show was 5/29/85. But instead of continuing to show "new" shows tomorrow until the "new" shows run out which would have been the June 14, 1985 show they stopped today at May 29, 1985!! Going all in a row till today! What the? I would think one of these days they'll pick back up with new ones starting at the 5/30/85 show. I would hope. Man this is confusing. That was a journey for me. Seen them all. Yes, I know we have The Barker Era, but to me that’s too much TPIR. I would rather watch it on BUZZR or any time I come across one that’s new to me on the internet.

Well, I feel like I just used a decoder ring to crack the secret message in the Cracker Jack box (Jean Shepherd Cheristmas Story movie reference). Yes it's confirmed, Buzzr is trying to make things as difficult as possible to figure out correct broadcast dates. OK, to save you all a 1/2 hour of your time here are the next few days of mixed up Price Is Right broadcast dates:
Friday: 9/12-13/84 Sat: 11/30/84 & 12/3/84 Sun: 12/5-6/84 Mon: 9/14/84 & 9/17/84
Makes perfect sense right? Uh huh. I better print those dates up before I forget them and have to figure it all out again.

With Price being the longest running game show it made perfect sense from Fremantle to give it its own channel in 2020, there’s no way Buzzr would be able to comb through all of seasons 11 to 14 (750 episodes or so) within a year with more 1980’s episodes to come. The channel came about when most people were at home but not by choice which seemed to give it the viewership boost it needed

BTW, anyone knows if Buzzr has officially announced CC episodes 1017-1023 yet? It seems there is a pre-update written by someone on the Mark Goodson wiki for those episodes ("Featured prizes: (Game 1) and (Game 2)"), but all I know is that there are going to be four unknown episodes airing tomorrow, and then from Tuesday onwards they're reverting back to 1987 and 1988...
Anyone have any information on when 1017-1023 will be aired if at all?

Did the episodes air in May 1992 when NBC was airing reruns of CC from Oct 28 1991-late August 1992 when the shows were almost exactly one year old?

I only first saw CC when it aired in the Philippines in 1995; the first episode I ever saw was (what I later discovered to be) 1036 (Terri vs Antoinette), and that was in June of that year, and by which time I understand it had already been airing since as early as January that year - of which I do recall from snippets that they were exclusively the Two Strikes 2.0 format episodes. That's as much as I remember regarding air dates.

Been messaged this:
"PYL cycles back after #697, I guess we shouldn't be surprised."
Would we have gotten the rest if GSN had continued after 200 and 250 episodes in the 2000's? It seems to me that GSN would have had 300 episodes in their next package if the changeover in 2004 happened. Not to mention them phasing out classics when Buzzr began might have been another reason why they never continued forward in 2016. When you combine everything that has been rerun on GSN and Buzzr, the total number of episodes comes out to 690. Buzzr has shown 682. Would combining them with USA Network come out to 736?
The excerpts from Bruce/Jo/Paige that were shown in VH1's I Love the 80's 3-D in 2005 looked to be in perfect condition.

I have no complaints for them looping back to college week. Maybe this winter or next spring they may air them?!
Only time will tell...

As of this week, they've officially reverted back to 1987 episodes of "beta" CC. They have not announced any new episodes from 1017 onwards, and given that they reverted back to the 1987 episodes, it pretty much seems they might take a while before getting to the remaining CC episodes, possibly due to three upcoming holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Xmas).

lmcjr Isn't it 48? The last time the weekday rotation was reset, they were at 409 on Wednesday-Friday. They previously have cycled back to 332-333/356.

Don't worry, I have faith that Buzzr will air 698-755 of PYL. I don't believe the unconfirmed (and more than likely the rumor about 698-755 is nothing but misinformation and over time will be debunked) reports that 698-755 are damaged, etc. Until the next batch drops however, don't believe the hype and don't listen to people who spread misinformation about game shows (you wouldn't think anyone would spread misinformation about game shows, but they do).
On another topic, remember that several rumors about The Barker Era channel have been debunked (IE: model residuals, The Bump "ban", rumors about Rod's episodes, etc.)
