Need a small sanity check here. These are the BUZZR airing listings of one SP episode from the week of 11/3/86 - 11/7/86:
2023-12-28 3:00pm Super Password 86 0545 *NEW*
2023-12-29 2:00am Super Password 86 0545
2024-10-07 11:30am Super Password 86 0545
BUZZR has the episode number listed as 545, which according to my guide, is the first episode of that week, but the episode that aired is clearly the 2nd episode of the week, #546 from my guide.
Is BUZZR's label wrong, or my episode guide?

Is BUZZR's label wrong, or my episode guide? Buzzr's label is incorrect, it's actually #0546. I have no idea why Buzzr tends to skip the other 4 episodes of the All Star Week with Ed Begley Jr., McLean Stevenson, Harvey Korman and Dennis Weaver. During the first season of As Seen On, they showed clips from that week as well as the other All Star Week with that had 2 cast members of "The Golden Girls" and 2 cast members of "Life With Lucy". This isn't the first time Buzzr labeled the episode # when a different episode aired in its place, they did this with Supermarket Sweep several times. For instance, they have #6_1561 scheduled but #6_1562 aired in its place instead, then they have #6_1564 airing twice in a row. Either Buzzr has #6_1561 taped over or they have conversion corruptions. They also labeled #7_1093 from the first PAX revival season scheduled but #7_1091 aired again, again, Buzzr must've had corruption issues with #7_1093. Wish someone would upload #0547-#0549 of Super Password as well. #0549 meanwhile IS on YT to check out. |

I checked the schedules you posted the links to. Supermarket Sweep is off the schedule soon. I am happy about that considering they keep showing the same 1994 and 2000 episodes over and over.

I checked the schedules you posted the links to. Supermarket Sweep is off the schedule soon. I am happy about that considering they keep showing the same 1994 and 2000 episodes over and over. Isn't it gone due to The Great Christmas Light Fight? |

Latest updates from BUZZR - they've released schedules until November 11th 2024. However, the slots that once aired Classic Concentration have been replaced by "The Great Xmas Light Fight", which as djryguy says above, is getting 5 hours of airtime every calendar day. If this is going to be the leadup to Xmas Day, then my gut feeling is that Classic Concentration may not come back until the New Year - if at all.  Then again, I could be wrong, which I hope I am. Beginning Friday, November 1, 2024, Classic Concentration now airs daily from 10 PM - 12 midnight ET. The Sat/Sun reruns are only labeled "Classic Concentration 90". while the weekday reruns continue the rerun cycle that was previously aired weekdays from 4-6 PM ET, and last aired on Friday, October 25, 2024 (and skipping 187).
At a higher level, I would say that BUZZR is highlighting the "Light Fight" shows, while "protecting" some existing shows by either not changing anything (TPIR; the 12 midnight - 6 AM overnight schedule), or moving them to other times (weekday SP, Classic Concentration). Unfortunately, some shows have been taken off the schedule (Dawson Feud, Supermarket Sweep), in what is probably a temporary move.
I would have to say that since April 2024, this has been the most volatile period for frequent BUZZR schedule changes, with more likely to come.

While I'm happy with Blockbusters, What's My Line? and Truth staying intact overnight, there's not going to be any FRESH ones apparently and yeah, Temptation does not justice to SALE and LIGHT FIGHT is a recent REALITY show more than anything. I would assume a holiday show like that will air through December. Brain turning to mush. I hope our friends who have taped lots of old GSN stuff of yore will continue to upload, as that might be the only saving grace with BUZZR phoning it in, lately.

This may be a lot to accept about a channel that likes to try our patience: but have patience. They have given us a lot of fresh Family Feud this year, and it's a mainstay of the channel and it will be back. You could have reasonably made the same post about them abandoning Concentration, color What's My Line and Blockbusters until... hey, look at that, they're back.
Meanwhile, why do they hate Tattletales?!

Wait, so based on what you're saying, Classic Concentration's new episodes are back again at 10pm starting Friday Nov 1st? That's not what I saw on the schedule - I'm pretty sure it says "Classic Concentration 88" there (and based on the page source it begins at episode 187), so technically, it isn't back until and unless they announce anything from episode 1017 onwards. |

Wait, so based on what you're saying, Classic Concentration's new episodes are back again at 10pm starting Friday Nov 1st? That's not what I saw on the schedule - I'm pretty sure it says "Classic Concentration 88" there (and based on the page source it begins at episode 187), so technically, it isn't back until and unless they announce anything from episode 1017 onwards. I never said that the episodes were fresh, just that that was the new time slot for any Classic Concentration episodes at all, beginning on November 1, 2024 which is notable since CC was entirely off the schedule from October 26 -31.
