As per some posts on Game Show Forum: Apparently the Buzzr FAST stream (as seen on services like Pluto and Freevee) are now showing other programming such Supermarket Sweep and Press Your Luck in place of The Great Christmas Light Fight. The stream from Buzzr's website is not affected. This is likely because Light Fight is now continuously airing on Fremantle's Places & Spaces channel on those platforms, though then again Sweep also has its own FAST channel.

I record the website stream, and today it played Supermarket Sweep (based on my Super Password overrun.) It had been airing before today. Perhaps because these are the "newer" episodes of the Christmas show.
And no, vahan, I tracked the number of episodes for a few years, but then stopped because no one seemed to care (heh.)

I record the website stream, and today it played Supermarket Sweep (based on my Super Password overrun.) It had been airing before today. Perhaps because these are the "newer" episodes of the Christmas show. And no, vahan, I tracked the number of episodes for a few years, but then stopped because no one seemed to care (heh.) For whatever reason, Christmas Light Fight didn't run on the stream at all today. The afternoon ones were replaced by three episodes each of Supermarket Sweep and Press Your Luck, and the evening ones were replaced by two episodes each of Classic Concentration and Card Sharks with Jim Perry. The evening ones were ones that had run on the stream before. The over-the-air feed still had Christmas Light Fight in all five time slots. |

Randomly checking in on here and noticed the comments. Right now on the website stream, it's the Christmas Light Fight. However on Plex, it's Classic Concentration. Supermarket Sweep is on the stream and the OTA feed today, so it seems Great Christmas Light Fight is gone completely. Next week's schedule on the Buzzr website has been updated too, but it's all doubled up. Light Fight is still there on half the listings, but the other half has a totally new evening schedule that includes Password '67 and Classic Concentration from 1987 instead of the fresh episodes that had been previously scheduled. No idea what's going on.

Nobody wanted this reality junk and maybe their (our?) voices have been heard. One hour a night would have been no biggie, but they really screwed the pooch on this one. Reasonably stoked to see OG Password getting a regular timeslot. (actual "vintage gameshow")  |

It is great to see the schedule changes coming up. However it would be nice if Buzzr would show a different season of Supermarket Sweep other than 1994 and 2000 that have been on over and over. Even if the episodes aren't fresh or would be great to see the 2001 or later seasons.

I tuned in just in case they slipped in skipped episodes. Maybe the Christmas Lights didn’t get the response Buzzr was expecting. It will give you a sense of nostalgia when PYL aired on USA in the afternoon. Curious to see what’s the lineup on the next schedule release. |
