I swear, Buzzr need to get rid of the snowflakes running the place.
<Begin sarcasm here> I think the "snowflakes" were out of the office when the this latest long batch of Super Password was converted. <End Sarcasm).
In all seriousness, during the latest fresh batch of SP, I have seen the following:
- A Puzzle with a solution of "Nazis", including a clue of "Hitler" (double cringe). - A Puzzle with a solution of "Tonto" (not cringe), including a clue of "Indian" (cringe, but at least that clue was not played, as the puzzle was solved before it would have been played). - The entire G. Gordon Liddy week. As everyone said back in 1987; "WTAF?!?!?"
EDIT TO ADD
OTOH, the last G. Gordon Liddy episode featured a puzzle with a solution of "Sitting Bull". The contestant won the puzzle after receiving two muted clues from Betty White; one while trying to get "Sioux" (unsuccessful), and the other while trying to get "Chief" (successful, and the puzzle was immediately solved).
Not sure if they were muted for original broadcast, or just for BUZZR. Watching in real time, it just looked BW had not given a clue and might get buzzed, but the then contestant responded and I realized what was happening.
<end of edit>
The current tally of fresh SP in this batch is 87 (605 to 695 with 4 skips), or 92 if you include episodes 1050-1054 that were dropped fresh in between 607 & 608

I was mainly taking a shot at Buzzr sometimes being overly PC and censorious. The amount of episodes they've skipped or edited (especially of Match Game) that used to be aired uncut on GSN for so many years (including well into the 2010s and still do air today on that network) just makes them look like moral watchdogs. Like, does Buzzr really need to skip or censor episodes just because "Oriental" or "Midget" was used once in an episode, and not even in a demeaning matter? Even when they censor those words, it's usually pretty easy to figure out what was censored.
Sorry for going on this little rant, but I can't be the only one who's a bit tired of this. I know plenty of others who don't like how Buzzr have been censoring certain episodes of the shows they've run.

Schedule for 12/9-12/15 is up. Super Password continues fresh (#681-#695) Barker TPIR returns fresh where it left off and expands to three hours per day with a bonus 4th fresh episode on Barker's birthday. (#5754-#5785, skipping #5782). Not sure if this is just for Barker's birthday week. Match Game block gets pushed back an hour and reduces the Classic Concentration block to just one hour. Same change on the weekend. Schedule for 12/16-12/19 is not showing completely.
My hunch is that there won't be another new CC batch of episodes released until after the new year, when all the "Xmas aftershock" has died down and BUZZR is working at full strength once again.

On Thanksgiving, instead of airing Super Password 664, they aired 658 again.

Also, is there something wrong with Match Game? It was previously fresh last July, ending with Monday and Tuesday of Week 24 of the 1980-1981 Season with Marjorie Wallace. (Fun fact: She was the original hostess on Entertainment Tonight, which began in 1981.)

So I managed to "uncensor" this video, by working some magic and overdubbing the 3 audio censored parts with the actual audio from the GSN broadcast. Here's #656 uncensored: youtu.be/kjIsQ6M5xdM

TrickyMario7654 I think even almost everyone in that community would disagree with Buzzr that it is offensive.

To be fair to BUZZR, viewing the clip with the original audio (thanks for this) makes it's clear that there is more to this than just finding that word itself offensive. The two clues that were edited out were both the word "Indian". The first time, Betty White sang the word. The second time, she said it using a deep voice that invoked the stereotype of Native Americans speaking broken English.
(Just before Betty's first censored clue, she can be heard actually using the word "Indians" in joking about her failed guess of General Custer for the puzzle solution. I am not sure if BUZZR left that in, or if it was added back to the uncensored video.)

Considering that the Buzzr bug remained onscreen when she said that, I'm pretty sure they left that in uncensored.
On the other hand, here's another clue that Buzzr censored, but this time I kind of see why they did it. On this occasion, it was John Astin's clue of "Negro" for "Black" in episode 200 of Password Plus (at 18:35) that they censored:
Was this uncensored on GSN airings? Having said that, there's one other episode where John Astin does this (I forgot the episode number) and Buzzr left it uncensored!

I have been wondering this for a while and I will throw it out there due to seeing a couple of posts about Bob Boden in the GSN updates section. Do any of you guys think that Mr. Boden be a good addition to a higher up position at Buzzr if he was offered a spot at the network? What do you think? I am sure the odds of it happening are not favorable, but I thought I would throw it out here to get opinion.

Here's #656 uncensored: youtu.be/kjIsQ6M5xdMGood to see you upload again, it's been over 2 years since your last upload. Just wondering if you can also upload these Buzzr-skipped episodes if you still have them as well as if you have pre-March 2004 GSN airings of these: OG Card Sharks #138 from November 1, 1978(the episode after Norma Brown won the maximum Money Cards amount, the ONLY time the Money Cards was ever won the maximum offer), #148 from November 15, 1978, the mismatched socks question was posed, #113 from September 27, 1978, see GSN scheduled it to air on Christmas Day 2001 but GSN repeated the 12 Games of Christmas marathon that day and EVERYTHING they were supposed to air on Christmas Day 2001 was skipped and GSN chose to skip #113 in all future rerun cycles since, #526 from May 6, 1980(this was one of *6* consecutive episodes GSN skipped due to GSN Live showing Bill Rafferty's counterpart for the entire week) Body Language #263 from June 17, 1985, #265 from June 19, 1985(Lori vs. Susie), #290 from July 24, 1985(Marnee vs. Joshua, Bob Hilton subs), #295 from July 31, 1985(Joshua vs. Shannon) #297 from August 2, 1985(Jeff vs. Shannon) #302 from August 9, 1985(Erika vs. Linda), #304 from September 4, 1985(Wendy vs. Amy Webb Robbie), #307 from September 10, 1985(the episode where Amy Webb Robbie retires undefeated without any losses), #309 from September 12, 1985(Sha vs. Clark), #323 from August 28, 1985(from the final week of Teen Summertime, Jennifer vs. Tiffany), #326 from September 16, 1985(Sha vs. Jennifer), #334 from September 26, 1985(Lesa vs. Mark), #337 from October 1, 1985(Jeff vs. Cindy *1*), #351 from October 21, 1985(Noelle vs. Michael *1*, Bob Hilton subs, VTR'd WHILE Johnny Olson was suffering cerebral hemorrhage), #358 from October 30, 1985(Debi vs. Rebecca, Bob Hilton subs, first week to be VTR'd after Johnny Olson's obituary) OG Tattletales #366 from August 1975 with Sammy Davis Jr. as one of the week's guests Match Game SYN #80-19-1/#266 Password Plus #323 from April 2, 1980(somebody recorded this from a 1999 GSN weekday morning airing, could be Jamie Locklin or Imad Khuri), #399 from July 21, 1980, #408 from August 1, 1980(there is a green ball era GSN recording of this episode but time compressed), #412 from August 7, 1980(again, green ball era GSN but time compressed), #430-#431 from September 2-3, 1980(same thing), #469 from October 27, 1980(last episode with the "Password of the day" spiel, was rerun as part of Breakfast With The Stars), #488 from November 14, 1980, #494 from November 24, 1980 Super Password #0500 from September 1, 1986(the start of the 2nd Tournament of Losers Week) OK, I may be asking too much but we hope you still have those episodes listed in your collection.
