Unfortunately, Classic Concentration stops at #0421 from January 09, 1989. 38 episodes. Either that date or 1/3 is believed to be the point at which the contestants explain the non-tiebreaker rebuses.

The week of Oct 5 is up through the Friday. It's a continuation of the earlier week: Fresh color What's My Line, Classic Concentration, Match Game 74, Supermarket Sweep and Sale of the Century. On 10/8, Sale will be at 2/19/1986, i.e. an episode not seen since USA in early 1994. 2/20 is skipped. 2/21 will be seen on 10/9. LIsa Munoz's first show from 2/24 will be seen of 10/12 if no more skips or they don't skip back.

670 episodes remain after #0421. The excel notes I was sent awhile back reveal that September 02-20, 1991 were reruns, and that the program was preempted 39 times.

Still, 38 is a surprisingly small amount. I wonder if they can add some of the 32 skipped episodes at some point this year to make up for this?

You can just cut a check to BMI to cover the music clearance fees for the skipped episodes and you're good to go.

Sale of the Century #178 and #179 were skipped. They were supposed to air last Thursday and Friday, but Curtis Warren's last two shows re-aired instead.

Somehow, I think BUZZR is going to skip 197 instead, despite showing it on the schedule because it was already shown during their Lucky Wins Marathon last March. 198-200 I believe will be aired Wednesday-Friday.

Sale of the Century #178 and #179 were skipped. They were supposed to air last Thursday and Friday, but Curtis Warren's last two shows re-aired instead. According to my notes from the published BUZZR schedule, 176 & 177 were scheduled to be skipped, and 178 and 179 were to be aired on Thursday and Friday (9/10 & 9/11). Whatever the episode numbers, Curtis Warren's last two shows aired. Frankly, I wasn't tracking that closely; I just noticed that they all seemed to be different Curtis Warren episodes since fresh SOTC returned on 8/31/2020.
When I went to watch 7 PM SOTC from last night (9/14) on my DVR, I expected Jim to be greeting three new contestants, since the previous episode that aired was Curtis Warren's final victory. Instead, a one day winner was introduced. It feels like another episode was skipped.

Although the commercial breaks were correct, which is usually a tell for when they play the wrong episodes. We'll have to see if they do air 178 and 179 when it comes around on the morning airing, but knowing them, they could just plan to skip 176 and 177 again and do the same thing.

So I am still not entirely clear which episode numbers actually aired. But if I go by the entries on gameshows.fandom.com/wiki/Sale_of_the_Century/Episode_Guide/Syndication/1986 , then 176 & 177 are the last two Curtis Warren episodes, and those two actually aired. So, it would seem that it just boils down to the BUZZR schedule indicating that 176 & 177 would be skipped, but they weren't; episodes 178 and 179 were skipped instead. This is what I am going with for now.

There are Match Game PMs on tonight. Are they new to Buzzr? And the MG PMs that start up tomorrow night at 7 pm, are they new to Buzzr? Or are these all episodes shown by Buzzr before?

Oh, how disappointing. But thank you very much for the information.

Speaking of Match Game, I find the later Match Games from the very late '70's and the early '80s to be the most entertaining. Gene seems much looser and the "celebrities" also seem very comfortable. I especially like Dick Martin, that guy was just plain funny and seemed to have a laid back "don't care" attitude which makes him even funnier. Gene was ruder to the contestants though in these years, but I think he's just showing his real self. Anyone else like the latter day Rayburn Match Games better? I remember at the time I was in college so I couldn't watch the daytime Match Games during these years but when I got home I never missed the MG PM shows. I did used to wish I could have seen the daytime shows though. Now thanks to these reruns of game shows (something I never thought they'd never rerun decades later) I can now see all the shows I missed. I enjoy seeing them now.
I'll bet you Gene had no idea his shows would be rerun decades later. These game shows then were seen once or twice in summer repeats and then never seen again. And I don't think Gene or anyone ever expected they'd be seen again. Seeing them all now is a real treat.
