As for Family Feud, the 1982 episodes they taped begin with the one from February 3. On February 8, ABC interrupted the normal run of episodes to show a special two-week celebrity tournament called "Love in the Afternoon", with stars from all the ABC Soaps playing for charity. These ones were 82-21 to 82-30. They aired in close proximity with the hour-long Heroes Vs. Villains Primetime special that was taped in '81, and aired on Friday February 5 (Susan Lucci of All My Children appeared on both specials).

Finally, new episodes of Sale of the Century. ...but, it's from 1988. 1410 would pinpoint that to about July 1988, which was also what USA Network started with in 1992. view-source:http://buzzrtv.com/schedule/schedule_by_date/2019-7-1/America/New_York Hmmmmm at least we're moving into the NBC era hopefully we'll go even farther back (i'm not sure about 1983 to mid 1985) oh i don't think USA aired any July 1988 episodes but if any trader has USA reruns of Sale from July 1988 ( not NBC broadcasts) let me know

So for Sale of the Century, #1410 would be July 13, 1988, which is right where mittdawson's YT channel is at I think. Now Vahan, I think Family Feud began using the 1982 date on the February 2, 1982 show. The first episode with the Single-Single-Single-Double-Triple configuration was in the March 10, 1982 show(82-016). I hope along the way, Buzzr can finally rerun the very first episode with the new MGP logo and the Chyron credits, both debuted a few weeks into its 7th ABC Daytime Year, and also when losing families received a minimum guarantee of $250.

It'll probably take a while because it's Buzzr, but I hope we'll get to see the rest of Chip Esten's run. GSN skipped it because it was part of Christmas week.
I also missed that last episode of the Love in the Afternoon tournament of FF. It'll be nice to get a chance to see it again.

It was reported by someone at Fremantle that they had 800-900 episodes of $ale, Vahan has mentioned here. 170 or so more daytime episodes after 1410(GSN skipped one or two other episodes when they aired daytime $ale, besides Tbanksgiving and XMas weeks), plus 270 of the nighttime version(GSN skipped a few of those too) makes 440 episodes. That leaves about 360-460 episodes unaccounted for, but if that includes the 2007-08 version which was 160(?) episodes, that knocks it down to 200-300.

I'm reading some posts on Game Show Forum, and they say that July 1988 was not rerun on USA, and that USA's reruns started with late August. Not sure what to make of that.

The End of SUmmer bash week was believed to air on August 29-September 2, 1988 by someone on Youtube when a USA rerun from that week turned up a few years ago. The Tuesday 8/30/1988 episode aired on 10/12/1992, a Monday night as the Crush v. Papa Shango fight aired that night on Prime TIme Wrestling(voiceover at the end of the show said it aired "tonight"), ergo they would have aired at least four weeks of shows from before that, as Sale bowed on USA on 9/14/1992.

So I guess this means the first NBC episode USA aired was from August 2, 1988. And I did hear that they switched to the Syndicated episodes on May 3, 1993.
Guess this means USA didn't show July 1988 then.

If they started airing the 270 episode syndicated run on 5/3/1993, it would have been mid to late May 1994 when the syndicated run was finished. THey did go back to the NBC 1988 episodes before USA pulled Sale from the lineup. and I remember the THanksgiving 1988 shows airing in Summer 1994(the last airing on Sale on USA was 7/29/94)

There's a major change in the overnight. The black and white shows are gone, replaced by two hours of Family Feud. The "fresh" 1982 episodes replay at 2 AM, Combs Feud continues at 3 AM, and the two hours of Match Game are pushed back to 4-6 am. So does that mean the black and white shows will be gone then? What will be going in Match Game's old slot?

Essentially, the black and white shows are being replaced by two hours of Feud, but literally, the Family Feud eps take over the Match Game hours and the Match Game hours are taking the place of the black and white shows. The black and white shows have been in this slot since the beginning of the year and they were nearing the end of their second run through of a subset of episodes, so this is no big loss.
