So... GSN's got another original show coming. This one seems fairly interesting.

Ken Jennings stars in one of the episodes. The series premieres June 10th at 4:00PM.

I suspect James Holzhauer might be cast for this show at some point, particularly if it gets a second series.

I haven't exactly seen a full episode (maybe I have, while GSN was on in the break room at my workplace). From what I've seen, it's not a bad show. Nobody gets eliminated through the main rounds, which doesn't hurt.

Sherri said that the champion on the last show of Best Ever Trivia Show would come back in the new season. We'll see if they do that for the first show of the retitled series, assuming it keeps the same format. Nobody managed to win the three games to get the chance to become an expert in a future episode(one contestant won two games and bonus rounds and lost in the maingame in the third)

Ha. The way they're billing the experts is laughable. Come on, is this really necessary? It's like they're saying "Ken Jennings and a bunch of unknowns". Just... No.

It's also worth noting another one of their experts, Raj Dhuwalia, has placed in the top 3 in the World Quizzing Championships several times and has been nearly every trivia game show imaginable himself, winning big on both The Chase ($125,000) and Who Wants to be a Millionaire ($250,000).

More news, including a not-so-broad air date:

Again, they're pimping out this idea of "Ken Jennings and some random others". But at least we have an official season premiere on our hands!

So with that in mind, it's now 90 minutes of Brooke Burns by the time April 6 rolls around. It seems that the episode airing sequence is the same as it was with GSN's own remake of 1 vs. 100 where if the episode ended evenly, the production codes are scrambled up. The players returned only if they won the $10,000 end game. I wish the GSN PDFs were released again, especially for this show.

There was a $10K winner on the last taped show of Best Ever Trivia show. Sherri explained that it was the last show of that season and he would be back would be for the new season.

I think it's the same game as Best Ever Trivia show with a new title and a new host There's a reason why this thread is titled the way it is.

I might be surprised if John Carpenter doesn't appear on Master Minds. We've seen him on 1 vs. 100(the NBC version) and Grand Slam. Kinda wish they booked him and even Brad Rutter to this show. We may see Raj Dhuwalia reunite with Brooke along the way.

As we can see, the champion from the last episode known as Best Ever Trivia Show didn't return in this aired episode, as I said, the challenger that doesn't win the $10,000 can't return on the next episode, which reminds me of the $1 Million Chance of a Lifetime and the way an episode of 1 vs. 100 ended evenly, making production codes very confusing. This whole season was taped before March 11 BTW. Muffy and Brooke have met together on The Chase previously, but we have yet to see Raj being seen on the right side of the screen(on Brooke's left).
