Like a lot of statements about the existence of certain game shows, that claim has not been verified. John Ricci Jr. is not a stupid idiot. He knows what he's talking about. Doug Bradshaw has said the same thing, too. And actually, it was Doug who I first heard about this unfortunate case from. John Ricci has worked on a number of game shows and runs Wink M's social media pages.

Game show Forum expects it will be the Bergeron version, but they go through MGM to air Fifth Grader reruns, and MGM owns the Marshall version. The masters for the Davidson version were said by John Ricci Jr. to have been mostly missing. I expected it to be the Bergeron version too, and it appears it is the case according to an anonymous source. Regarding the other PlutoTV game show channel "More TV Game Shows", what game shows are being offered on that channel? I suspect it is mostly game show episodes previously aired on Buzzr. Does that game show channel air 1983 era Press Your Luck and early episodes of Eubanks' and Perry's Card Sharks? Are there any links to the Hollywood Squares and More TV Game Shows Pluto channels?

how does a company misplace an entire library, and why couldn't this happen to crappy shows

I got to ask something about the Hollywood Squares channel. Are there some episodes from September 2002 to the end of the series skipped on PlutoTV?

I got to ask something about the Hollywood Squares channel. Are there some episodes skipped on PlutoTV? Yes, 25 episodes are skipped from Seasons 5 & 6.

That explains the 335 episodes that were shown. I did learn that each of the final two seasons of the Bergeron version had 180 episodes each.

The More TV Game Shows channel said to be launched by Pluto in July hasn't shown up yet, maybe in the future it will. Probably be more Barker TPIR episodes coming in September in the wake of the 52nd season premiere, but we'll see what happens.

I think the "More TV Game Shows" channel is still in development. They had yet to launch it, but I wonder if the actors' strike might have delayed the launch of said channel, considering there are game shows with celebrity players, and those celebrities are among those presently on strike?
The Hollywood Squares channel did launch just before the actors went on strike, if I recall.

Apparently, the "More TV Game Shows" channel is already launched, but the channel is actually called "Pluto TV Game Shows" and features daytime classics and recent primetime game shows.
As of this post, a marathon of Supermarket Sweep is presently showing.

"Pluto TV Game Shows" has been a channel for quite some time. The "More TV Game Shows" stated in the pressers hasn't happened (yet).
Also, the strike wouldn't have anything to do with launching a classic TV channel.

Found out last night via Facebook that the Wheel of Fortune channel now has episodes with the classic puzzle baord. It turns out that the new batch started with a Season 10 episode - was that the season 10 premiere?

Yes it is and the fee plugs were edited out from the Pluto On-Demand copy, but they do exist in the GSN copies. The same applies with the J! Season 9 premiere that was on Netflix awhile ago. Fee plugs were edited out from there but remained fully intact on the GSN copies.

Last I checked when I first checked out PLuto TV just after the Drew TPIR channel launched early in July, they only had Season 20 onward (except for the most recent seasons). It's amazing they managed to add ten seasons to the channel very recently. The September 1992 through February 1997 episodes (during Vanna's letter-turning days) seem very interesting to me, but it would be more exciting to see the earliest syndicated seasons, and if we're lucky, maybe the daytime Sajak run (though only 1985 through 1988 episodes exist).
So this latest batch means we have more than a quarter of a century's worth of episodes and several years of classic goodness (I won't bother with Season 12, because I have that entire season--except for the December 9, 1994 episode-- in my collection now).

Pluto on Demand added eight early 1987-88 WOF nighttime episodes, just before the conversion to all-cash, and three more early 1992-93 season WOF episodes. GSN did run part of the 1987-88 season in its early years, circa 1995-96, but I don't know if they ran the shopping weeks of 1987-88 or not
Wonder if they'd be willing to bring on some earlier J! episodes other than season premieres, although music clearances for Audio Daily Doubles would be an issue on 80s and 90s episodes certainly.
