Ugh, why did Get A Clue have to be one of the shows that got renewed? That show is bad. Boring gameplay, annoying host ("TIIIIIIIME!"), and contestants that are dumber than a bag of Dum-Dums suckers. This show should've been thrown into the incinerator after season 1, seriously.

It is believed that the Chain Reaction 2006-07 contestants often seemed to be picked for personality over gameplay.

It is believed that the Chain Reaction 2006-07 contestants often seemed to be picked for personality over gameplay. I never felt that, myself. I feel that with a lot of other game shows nowadays, but I didn't feel it with Chain Reaction in 2006/2007. I thought that show was more laid back. Dylan Lane was pretty laid back, some people might have called him boring, I don't know. He wasn't a phony at least. Too bad I don't have GSN anymore, but I didn't watch it much and what I do now saves us a lot of money with streaming. I wouldn't mind giving some of these newer shows a shot that GSN has though. I didn't care for the Catherwood Chain Reaction much, but I watched every episode of that. It wasn't terrible, I just didn't care for it much. I thought that version was a little phony. Game show contestants now are probably trained to act a certain way, even if it is phony. Some are just naturally weird and excited. They also want risk takers on some of these shows that require taking risks. I probably wouldn't have the qualifications, sadly enough. Maybe for Jeopardy! if I was smart enough.
