I truly appreciate the fact that the show listened to all of the constructive criticism and made a much better game in the process so far for this second season. The latest episode is a perfect example of what can truly make The Chase a fundamentally exciting and unpredictable game.
I'm also glad they got The Beast to come back. I suspect the pandemic probably played a role in why he wasn't on the first season.

Natasha Baker Bradley, who lost on Jeopardy! in 2017, is the only one who makes it to the final Chase, banks $70K(could have had $300K but went with the lower offer), then gets 19 right in the final Chase, and wins due to Brad's several missings of questions. |

Ugh, this is two episodes in a row now that I've missed. All because I was watching the NBA playoffs. I need to break that habit. I feel guilty for not watching and I feel even more guilty that I forgot to DVR each episode.  |

ABC will be running an ESPN SUnday Night Baseball game on Sunday 8/8, which will preempt Chase/Feud/Truth that night.

Finally was able to watch an episode! Man, The Beast was off his game in the final chase. So many wrong guesses in a final chase where the target number was a very beatable 16. The contestants were able to punish him on most wrong guesses and they walked away with $360,000 ($120,000 for each player), so congrats to them.
Not a good look for The Beast after being brought on to be a chaser for this version of The Chase this season, especially given the reactions from the other chasers in the back. That's gotta hurt. |

The team played bad on their set of questions, and it seemed like the beast would of gotten 20-25 if the sets were reversed |

Well I'm reviving this thread because we haven't had a new episode of The Chase since July 2023. Wikipedia seems to have the show as dead. I can't find any information as to whether the show is officially cancelled or not.
