Buzzerblog reports Celebrity WOF will be coming to ABC primetime in 2021, with celebs playing for up to $1 Million for charity. This is being done in the wake of last January's success with the Jeopardy primetime GOAT tournament.

Wow! I wonder what celebrities Wheel Of Fortune will have and how the show will go?

At this point I'm just wondering how badly they'll botch this thing.

At this point I'm just wondering how badly they'll botch this thing. By having Leslie Jones host it? I know that won't happen, but that would be one way to botch it. Edit: I actually just read an article for it. Thank goodness Leslie Jones isn't hosting it. I honestly don't know how they could botch it.

I know Sajak's daughter hosted for a time and she did okay. I could imagine her doing a good job. But we're going to have to accept the fact that they may put a different host up and there's a good chance he or she may be terrible.

Why are we talking about different hosts? Pat and Vanna are confirmed to be hosting this.
What I'm hoping is that they can actually make the show feel fresh and lively again.

I think it's because with Alex Trebek's death, we have to acknowledge not only is it impossible for Mr. Sajak to host it forever, but we do need some fresh blood.
plus primetime specials usually have different hosts than regular game shows. Remember when Family Feud went primetime a few years ago and they had Al Roker hosting? We have to accept they may want someone else hosting.

I like Wheel of Fortune. The celebrity stuff is getting old for these game shows though. I'm a Millionaire fan and I'm tolerant of it on there, I don't know about Wheel though. I may pass on this one, and I like Wheel, not as much as Jeopardy but I like Wheel. I wouldn't mind Celebrity Jeopardy though, that's always good for some laughs I admit.

For me, my excitement over this is all going to depend on who's playing. If it's people I love, I'll at least watch those episodes. Just like I'll occasionally watch an episode of current Celebrity Feud depending on who's on.

I saw a picture from a taping of it. One of the celebs was the host of WLIIA? Aisha Taylor.

wonder if there will be some updates to the wheel for prime time, like a $10k (per letter) space, the return of the $1500 space in round 4

Leslie Jones is going to be a contestant in one of the episodes. Now I know to avoid that episode whenever it airs.
