In January 2021, a new game show will be coming to GSN. People Puzzler is based off of the celebrity crossword book of the same name.

It's actually the Celebrity News Magazine's 2nd attempt at a game show (previously, there was a 1990 Pilot with Jimmy Cefalo).

If the preview says anything,
- It's very much on the easy side. Telling about yourself seems to be the most challenging part of the game.
- Leah just seems to be their for the paycheck and she was a wee bit rude after one contestant told about themselves.

Caught the premiere episode this evening, and it's alright at best. At one point, my mom said "Will it get any harder?"

I don't know who this host lady is, but holy crap she's emotionless. She's the exact opposite of Rob Belushi from "Get A Clue". I know I have a problem with him being way too loud and a bit on the annoying side, but to be honest I think being the exact opposite of that is worse (and Rob's gotten better with GAC's second season; he's actually good now). At least Rob has emotion and brings life to the game. This lady hosting People Puzzler looks and sounds like she doesn't want to be there. It's like she's bored. That's not what I want from a game show host. In my honest opinion, I think she's the wrong person for this show.

Are you referring to Carnie Wilson? I never said People Puzzler's host reminded me of anyone else. I don't even remember what Carnie Wilson was like on The Newlywed Game. |

Bringing this thread back as well from the dead if I may, finally got to see this show as well this week. It's not bad, can't stand Leah Remini though. It's almost like she doesn't know how to act or what to do. It made me cringe watching her host that show.
