Yes, you should have. But, tomorrow is another day.
(Just then, Burton runs in with a printout.)
Burton: Actually, it isn't. We just got this e-mail from the Senior Vice President of Daytime Programming. (he gives it to Greg)
Greg: OK, I'll read it. "Dear Second Guess, You have given away a record of close to $295,000 in the first four days. The Price is Right doesn't give away that much in a month. Despite positive reactions from focus groups, the critics hate the show. That's not why we're cancelling it, though." (audience groans) "Our advertising revenues cannot match the amount given away in each episode." In layman's terms, NBC can't make money fast enough to cover our prizes. (continuing to read) "You, Mr. Palmer, are a valuable asset to the NBC family, so we are assigning you another project to air in primetime after the 2020 Summer Olympics." (audience cheers) And then there's all this legal mumbo jumbo I can't read on the air, et cetera, et cetera, signed, Bruce Evans. Well, that's it, our show is cancelled. (audience groans) So, I must make an executive decision. James, you want that car so badly... here are the keys. (I give him the keys, the audience cheers) Audience, I'm going to let you split $100,000. (audience cheers even louder)
Does anybody want to say anything before we go?

Side question, how much was that car by the way? (I don't think it would've been enough to win outright though.)
