Yes, you should have. But, tomorrow is another day.
(Just then, Burton runs in with a printout.)
Burton: Actually, it isn't. We just got this e-mail from the Senior Vice President of Daytime Programming. (he gives it to Greg)
Greg: OK, I'll read it. "Dear Second Guess, You have given away a record of close to $295,000 in the first four days. The Price is Right doesn't give away that much in a month. Despite positive reactions from focus groups, the critics hate the show. That's not why we're cancelling it, though." (audience groans) "Our advertising revenues cannot match the amount given away in each episode." In layman's terms, NBC can't make money fast enough to cover our prizes. (continuing to read) "You, Mr. Palmer, are a valuable asset to the NBC family, so we are assigning you another project to air in primetime after the 2020 Summer Olympics." (audience cheers) And then there's all this legal mumbo jumbo I can't read on the air, et cetera, et cetera, signed, Bruce Evans. Well, that's it, our show is cancelled. (audience groans) So, I must make an executive decision. James, you want that car so badly... here are the keys. (I give him the keys, the audience cheers) Audience, I'm going to let you split $100,000. (audience cheers even louder)
Alright, then. Burton, maybe you should tell James about the car.
Burton: (VO) I think I will, Greg.
(James runs over to his car)

Greg: One other thing this e-mail did say was that American Jackpot will have a special preview episode tomorrow before officially debuting on Monday in this same timeslot.
I want to thank everyone at Universal Studios Florida, Pasetta Productions, Grundy Television, Fremantle, NBC.... best team anyone could ever work with. I especially want to thank you for watching. And now, I have a song. This is dedicated to you, and to Alex Trebek, the original host.
Greg: Once before I go, I want you to know that I would do it all again I'm sure I'd make the same mistakes That I could make it through the pains and joys and aches I knew back then I would do it all, I'd do it all again
Before I go, I want you to know that I look back with no regrets And when our luck was wearing thin and we were down and out And still came back to win against all bets Now when I look back I still have no regrets
And it's so hard to say good-byes When there's so much that's left unspoken in your eyes But unless I spread my wings again, I'm afraid I'll never soar So hang on to the memories and hold me close once more
Once more, just once before I go I want you to know that I have loved you all along And even when we're far apart I only need to feel you're living in my heart and I'll be strong
You are the light that shines on me You always were and you'll always be So I had to let you know, just this once Just this once before I go
(audience gives Greg a standing ovation)
Greg: Thank you. Staff, models, everyone.... we must take a final bow, and then James, Burton, and I have to go to Las Vegas. (the cast and crew congregate on stage, hold hands, and take a group bow) Cast, crew, you stay here. This is your moment. I thank you all. Keep watching NBC, I'll see you later tonight. Keep smiling and bye for now!

dare2be: Just saw this latest discussion. My wife and son both had 2 days of fever of about 100 and body aches/fatigue on 2nd shot. I just had a little fatigue (felt like a cement mannequin), but no fever. Moderna back in April/May

wildjackmonroe: It's funny; I did all of this major house cleaning and stuff for the week early, expecting I'd be out of it for a couple days after my second vaccine shot, but I didn't have anything else but a sore arm like the first time.
Jul 24, 2021 19:49:52 GMT -5
gameshowmaniac: @mandoli someone I know had pain in the opposite arm that was jabbed. weird

rewindium: Sore arm and some fatigue but nothing like a fever or other major effects and didn’t have to take any pain relief. Glad to be added to the second dose statistic which today is 62% for my province
Jul 24, 2021 15:07:47 GMT -5
Mandoli: On another note, you might not. My brother didn't have any side effects of shot #2.
Jul 24, 2021 11:32:18 GMT -5
Mandoli: You'll feel it later, like this morning. I had a fever and slept in the day after my second. I begged work to not schedule me for the day after, knowing I wouldn't feel good.
Jul 24, 2021 10:59:23 GMT -5
rewindium: Got the second dose at a mass clinic earlier today, no side effects
