And now... Here’s the host of The Price is Right....GREG PALMER!(The screen wipes to reveal Greg "coming on down" himself, entering from the audience. He shakes hands, high fives, fist bumps, etc. etc. to a happy, cheering crowd. Then, he walks up on stage where Layla gives him his mic. Shot of the cheering crowd giving him a standing ovation. Greg bows.) Greg: Thank you. Welcome to The Price is Right! (audience cheers) You'll notice I came in a different way today. All will be revealed in due time over the next few minutes. Now, we get lots of letters, e-mails, tweets, and Facebook posts asking, "Why does this show have a live audience? Why aren't you like the daytime version?" Well, there are a few good reasons for that. Yes, we do have a COVID-19 Compliance Safety Officer by the name of Natalie Ginsberg, and we also have experts here at Universal Studios Florida and with our local affiliate, WESH-TV. However, a lot of our success is due to that of Florida governor Ron DeSantis. (Floridians in the audience cheer) We want to publicly thank Governor DeSantis for allowing us to have audiences and run things as close to normal as possible. (Floridians in the audience cheer some more) Now, everybody take out your bottles of hand sanitizer and use them right now. They're under the seats. (Layla hands Greg a bottle of hand sanitizer and everyone sanitizes their hands, including Steve Anderson) There we go. Thank you.
