deadline.com/2021/08/markie-post-dead-night-court-actress-was-70-1234811055/Three, almost four, year battle with cancer. Hadn't known she'd been diagnosed, actually. Originally a producer for Mark Goodson, specifically on Double Dare, later to appear on-camera as a dealer for Jim Perry's Card Sharks, later (after moving to acting) a frequent celebrity guest on many game shows, in particular The $100,000 Pyramid where she was partner to Debbie Seppien, who won the title prize in November 1987. More recently, I watched her recurring role as Bunny Fletcher on Chicago P.D. when she was on there. Made for an "oh, that's...her!" surprise once I started diving back into these classic game shows and saw her on a few. RIP.

Her first game show gig was as a production assistant on Kennedy's Split Second.

Mandoli Since this is an obituary, this should be moved to the Game Show News section under the "Obituary" category, correct?

It was a fun surprise seeing her on Chicago PD a few years ago. Markie was one of my favorite game players and I loved watching her on Night Court. Talented and truly entertaining person. Also this was barely a month after we lost Charlie Robinson. RIP.
