With Halloween being the hit holiday of October are many game shows gonna do a Halloween theme? Because I know that Wheel Of Fortune does Halloween Week every October and The Price Is Right and Let's Make A Deal are also doing Halloween themed weeks every Halloween. Is that the case for this Halloween?, Kelsey

I don't watch Family Feud these days, but I know that Family Feud did Halloween-themed episodes when Richard Karn and John O'Hurley hosted their runs. I wonder if Steve Harvey's run had any Halloween-themed episodes?
I know that, during Press Your Luck's 3-year run on CBS, although an episode did air on October 31 every year of the run, there was really only one true Halloween episode and that was from 1984. The Trick-or-Treat Whammy was shown, and there was a scene where Peter wore a Frankenstein mask and did a little dance number during the closing credits. It was never shown again after 2003 due to GSN's cutting off of the end credits in favor of GSN promoting their prime-time programming during those subsequent airings.
There was an episode on October 31, 1983, and no mention of Halloween occurred probably because the show was a "new kid on the block" to CBS's schedule and not a lot of affiliates cleared the show to air by that point (I know the local affiliate in Detroit where I got CBS from in 1983 never aired any game shows except for TPIR).
And there was an episode on October 31, 1985, and again, no mention of Halloween by Mr. Tomarken - though the Trick-or-Treat Whammy was shown minus the audio during Rod's opening spiel - likely because it was Day #9 of the third Home Player Sweepstakes, plus local affiliates were dropping the show slowly but surely at that point.

That's an interesting fact about Halloween themed game shows Cardsharksfan8689. There was also a Halloween episode of Whammy The All-New Press Your Luck that featured Todd Newton dressed as the Grim Reaper and contestants could win a Halloween themed vacation as well. As an added treat a Whammy character came out and gave audience members M&M's Candy too, Kelsey

With Valentine's Day Friday are many game shows gonna have Valentine's Day themed episodes? Because I do know that Wheel Of Fortune has Sweethearts Week and Let's Make A Deal is gonna have a special Valentine's Day episode. Also what marathon will GSN have for Valentine's Day this year?, Kelsey

Also what marathon will GSN have for Valentine's Day this year? Apparently they're showing Newlywed Game from 8pm - 11pm (ET). No need to thank me if this is legit. I looked at TV Guide, because I was already there for other things.

With St. Patrick's Day coming up soon are many game shows gonna have St. Patrick's Day episodes? I do know that GSN shows the St. Patrick's Day episode of Whammy as their St. Patrick's Day tradition but is The Price Is Right gonna have a St. Patrick's Day episode too and will Let's Make A Deal have a St. Patrick's Day episode too as well, Kelsey

Not every "holiday" is going to have its own special. TPIR and LMAD probably won't do it.

Well, TPIR did do a St. Patrick's Day special in 2009 and 2010. They didn't do one from 2011 through 2013 because the holiday was either during the NCAA break or on a weekend. Since St. Patrick's Day falls on a Monday this year, there may be a chance of seeing a special to honor such occasion.

CBS just ran a promo during Y&R here for a St. Patrick's Day themed episode on Monday.

The Price Is Right and Let's Make A Deal are gonna have St. Patrick's Day shows? That's pretty amazing and I hope Let's Make A Deal's St. Patrick's Day show is really fun. I wonder if Wayne Brady will be dressed in green and Tiffany Coyne will dress as a beautiful Irish dancer, Thanks for telling me about it Wild Jack Monroe, Kelsey

My apologies, I should have been more specific. Price is Right for sure is having a St. Patrick's Day episode. That was the promo that was shown. As for LMaD, I'm not sure. Here's the TPIR promo: www.youtube.com/watch?v=2v33iScGkHk

Even though I haven't watched TPIR since last October (except for the "Best of 2013" special with the historic win), I think this Monday's episode seems to be very interesting, and I am off from work that day, so maybe I will give this Monday's airing a shot, since GSN likely won't air anything worthy of recording then. At least TPIR will be more fun to watch.
I wonder if Golden Road will be featured that day? After all, there is a rainbow, and it sort of does have a pot of gold theme involved.

Looks like my prediction of Golden Road being played on today's episode was right on the money. It's also weird how Drew Carey never gave the lowest possible value of the luxury car being offered this time. I am also predicting Grand Game being played today too (and Grand Game was a more realistic prediction on my part to begin with).

When I was watching Let's Make A Deal today there was no St. Patrick's Day themed episode and it was a regular episode today. My father and I were discussing Let's Make A Deal and he thought that Wayne would be dressed in a green St. Patrick's Day outfit but he was dressed in his traditional suit. I find it shocking that the only CBS game show to have a St. Patrick's Day episode today was The Price Is Right and it seems that The Price Is Right gets more holiday episodes than Let's Make A Deal. But I did find out that Let's Make A Deal and The Price Is Right will have Spring Break themed episodes on Friday. Didn't you find it odd that Let's Make A Deal didn't have a St. Patrick's Day show today?, Kelsey
