It's Card Sharks, but we're playing in the heart of Disney World: Magic Kingdom. 2 contestants will battle their way to lots of cash, and a chance at a car. Here's a run-through of the game.
Each player has their own 52 card deck, filled from deuces to aces in every suit. The champion plays the red cards, and the challenger plays the blue cards. The players "stand" on their side of the podium and have a "nametag" in their color.
Control of the cards is always determined by answering a survey question (like Family Feud). 100 people of the same demographic will be asked the same question (For example: We asked 100 women, has a person dumped you in the middle of a date? How many said thay have been dumped during a date?). The person it's meant for will give their estimate on how many people gave the answer the host gave (You can give reasoning, but it isn't necessary). The other player will say if it's higher or lower. For example: The blue player gives a guess of 53, but the red player says lower, and the answer is 37. That means the red player controls their cards first.
When controlling the cards, you have a base card. If you like the card, call higher or lower. If you don't like it, you may ask to change it, but the next card is the one you must play. If you make a bad choice, the opponent has a turn at their cards, but they can not change their base. When in control, a player may freeze at any time, and it would become their base card.
The player who completes their side of the board first wins a game. To win the match and become the champion, you must win 2 games. For every game you win, you get $1,000.
If, at any time during the main game or the bonus round, you get a joker, you receive the Joker to use in the special car round. In the bonus round, the Money Cards, you start with $1,000 in cash. For every card following the first card, you must bet an amount of money and call higher or lower. If the card is correct, you get the money. If not, you lost that money. On the second level, you'll receive another $2,000. Same applies with this level. On the Big Bet level, you must bet at least half your winnings. It's double or nothing in the Big Bet.
The special car round will only be played if a player gets a Joker during the main game or Bonus Round. There are 7 options, and you put your Jokers where you think the card with Car on it is. If you put a Joker on the spot where there's the CAR card, you win the car. If not, you don't win the car and you meet another player.
That's Card Sharks in a nutshell. Now, I require 2 players to play for cash and a car. Who will they be?
