On an unrelated note for those fans following the Wheelvault channel on Dailymotion for older episodes (pre-spring 2006), all of those were recently removed by Sony Thank goodness I downloaded nearly all of Season 12 and a good portion of Season 6 while I did. Those were the best seasons, in my opinion. I never would have thought I'd ever see the November 16, 1988 episode. Years ago, I had no desire to see it due to being a haunting reminder of an embarrassing punishment that caused me to miss it until the summer reruns. But given my age, and uncertainty of how long the episode will be available, I decided, two years ago, to bury the hatchet and download and watch the episode. It's in my digital game show collection now. As for 21st century WOF, I downloaded many episodes from Season 22, 24 and 25, and nearly all of Season 23 (the latter was the best 21st century season to me), but not from WheelVault. |

Season 42 will be getting a set upgrade starting with the tapings on 7/25, and cars will not be in the bonus round anymore, as per posts on Buzzerblog and Buy a Vowel. The season started taping on 5/21 with no set changes.

Interested in the episodes from the first eleven seasons. Seasons 12 and onwards are already covered by the fine folks over at Buy a Vowel. The Wheel Pluto channel was not available on the Canadian version of Pluto for some reason, probably due to rights

The only station that I can watch Wheel of Fortune is on ABC affiliate WATM 23, Johnstown, PA.
Due to NFL Monday Night Countdown on Monday, September 9th, the season premiere of Wheel of Fortune and the first episode with host Ryan Seacrest is pre-empted and is not scheduled either in the early morning overnight hours.
I live just outside the Pittsburgh TV market DMA and do not receive any Pittsburgh TV stations.
Messaged the station asking to schedule the premiere. Johnstown, PA is not the only ABC affiliate that airs Wheel of Fortune at 730 pm daily.

Earlier today was the last of the summer repeats with Pat and unlike the case with Bob and TPIR on Oct 12, 2007 before Drew’s debut, Pat’s final episode wasn’t repeated before the host switch but instead it was a general episode from May 17 (Friday of HSN week)

I think I know why Pat's final episode was not reran today. It's because Pat's final speech mentioned "you'll see more of me... that's right, summer reruns!" - which is irrelevant at this point.
So there you have it, folks. The official end of a chapter in Wheel of Fortune has now come, and on Monday we enter a new chapter with Ryan Seacrest as host.

Thoughts on Ryan’s first show as host? I found it to be still similar in format to the late Pat era except that the staging of the Toss Up rounds is now different: the puzzleboard is now on the upper part of the screen instead of lower part with the contestants in “windows” instead of all together in a wide shot
