Just looking at Leslie Jones's most recent tweets on Twitter in regards to this year's election has me thinking almost anyone else would've been a better host for this show than her. Her outbursts are just too much for me. If this show gets renewed for a second season, I hope to God that she isn't the host. Not even Rob Belushi from GSN's Get A Clue is this annoying. If this keeps up, I might have to take back my earlier statement about Trish Suhr being more annoying than Leslie Jones.

If this keeps up, I might have to take back my earlier statement about Trish Suhr being more annoying than Leslie Jones. It's not even that. I mean most people in Hollywood or New York are going to say that. (don't get me wrong, her twitter page is 50 shades of cringe), Leslie Jones has always been annoying. I get what people are going for, the whole "Let's get away from the middle-age or older white dude with a beautiful 20-something sidekick" that was predominant in game shows, but they don't need to go with someone this one-dimensional. Look at Jones in Ghostbusters 2016 or on SNL. She only has one personality, and it's not a fit for a show that's fun like Supermarket Sweep. Before anyone says "well, you just want white guys hosting", most of my favorite hosts aren't white males. Elizabeth Banks is one of the best hosts right now. Steve Harvey tends to drag jokes out a little bit but I think he has made the Feud fun. Even Alfonso Ribiero, as much as we ragged on him during his initial loud run on Catch-21 is improving dramatically. Even Snoop is a better host because he's mellow which would work in his favor on the show. Get someone else on the show, it would be way better.

The first half of tonight's episode featured what might just be the worst "Big Sweep" performance of all time. The guy on the red team wasted so much time doing nothing but dillydallying around, not going fast, and not putting anything in his cart until much later in the round. It was a miracle that team broke the $1,000 mark. That guy was a shining example of what NOT to do in the "Big Sweep" round. Even Leslie Jones was annoyed with him. I think anyone would be annoyed with that performance.

Haven't watched this at all, but I am not surprised to see the poor reviews regarding Leslie Jones as host. She was a panelist in an early episode MG 2016 (episode 4), and has not been on since after violating an unwritten by universally followed "rule" in the Head-to-Head match.
When the contestant answers, the panelist who is playing (and sometimes other panelists who know the answer on the card) immediately know if the contestant won, but always refrain from indicating anything until the panelist's answer on the card is revealed. Jones was not playing, but immediately reacted to the contestant's answer, spoiling the result, and upstaging the panelist who was actually playing.

I'll be honest. I don't know how good or bad this show is doing in the ratings department because I don't pay much attention to that sort of thing, but if they're not that great, then can we all agree that it's because of Leslie Jones? Seriously, it's like she's getting more and more annoying as the season goes on. It's like she's actively trying to make the show about her and not the contestants or the gameplay. I've actually been tempted to change the channel a couple of times because of her and this is my favorite game show of all time! That's saying something right there.
This show desperately needs a new host if it gets another new season because she's not a good fit for Supermarket Sweep. However, I sadly don't see that happening because (and I know I'll probably be ignored or even hated for saying this, but it's a risk I'm willing to take because it's honestly how I feel and I feel like it's a legitimate issue) we live in a time where it seems like everything needs to cater to the black crowd. Why else do you think Jake from State Farm went from being a white guy to being replaced by one that's black? I'm not saying that because I'm racist (I'm not; I want equality for everyone, but black hate is a disgusting issue that shouldn't exist in the first place and it should be taken seriously). I'm just saying that we're going from one extreme to the other and I think that could be problematic. In my honest opinion, a game show needs to cater to everyone, not just one group and I feel like Leslie Jones is trying too hard to cater to the black crowd and even then, people of her color might be annoyed by her. Hell, if I remember correctly, in last night's episode she made a questionable remark concerning a white contestant's name saying that it's something you'd expect from a black person or something along those lines. It had me thinking to myself "wowwwwwww" and not in a good way. She's giving people of her color a bad look if you ask me. It's like she doesn't care and I hope if this show gets another new season that the producers of this show don't bring her back as host. I am not a fan of Leslie Jones and I'm not a fan of her antics.
Again, I'm not a racist. I just want the best for everyone and I want the best for this show. Please don't hate me.

Gotta agree about Leslie. It's SWEEP.... not SWAAAAAP.
and a right answer should be responded to with RIGHT or THATS CORRECT. Not
YAAAAAAAAAAA
She's too annoying. Current game show host wise: Elizabeth Banks and Pat Sajak are really the only 2 good ones. Haven't watched Weakest Link so that i don't know if she's good or not.

Also, Jane Lynch on The Weakest Link is pretty good in my opinion. I think she's done a fine job as host, though I think she could go a little faster when reading the questions, but now I'm getting off topic.

Is there any chance anybody could help me find a video of what I believe is season 10 episode 6 of the American version of this show? I cannot find it anywhere, and a friend's mother and aunt are in it and desperately would like to watch it.. two sisters named Cheryl and Stacy were contestants.. it aired roughly on august 13, 2001. The super sweep prize products were Lolli-Pups, Klondike, and Snap-E-Tom Tomato Juice. On many pages that list multiple episodes with descriptions, this particular episode says there is no information available.. Often it will also be listed as episode #13.2 ... no clue why, but I have seen it in quite a few spots. It isn't even listed on the fandom page that catalogues most episodes, and I cannot find it on youtube... this season isn't available on streaming platforms either... was hoping maybe someone randomly had a dvr or other video recording they could share? It would mean the world to this family to find it, as they have been looking for years to reminisce. please help!! PS. sorry if this is the wrong place for this! LMK and I will move it or repost.

Were there any instances in the Lifetime and PAX eras where no one got the Mini-Sweep question correct? What would happen if such an event occurred?

Were there any instances in the Lifetime and PAX eras where no one got the Mini-Sweep question correct? What would happen if such an event occurred? They simply move forward to the 3-player game or in the 5th and 6th seasons, the 30-second shootout where the team that ran Mini-Sweep #2 usually gets to play last. The clue given in the 30-second shootout for example was "Where the Oilers play, Houston" and the product's name is Heinz.

Was this supposed to be the Bonus Sweep theme from 1993-2002? Assuming this was indeed composed in 1993, of course.
If it was, I'm really stunned why it was never used as such. It definitely gives that "Find the $5,000! Time is running out!" feeling.
