Just remembered Elton John's Philadelphia Freedom was used on a Philly week in '92.

Stu Shostak said last night on Stu's Show that Wheel and Jeopardy! are hoping to start production by the end of the month, with COVID-influenced production changes(no audiences, no guests of contestants, only contestants who can drive in to the studios, in the LA area)

"Jeopardy!"'s Twitter page says production will resume production on November 30 with a rotation of guest hosts, beginning with Ken Jennings. The weeks of 12/21-1/1 will be reruns, to keep Trebek's last episode, scheduled to air on Xmas Day, from being preempted. His last week will air 1/4-1/8, when Kenjen starting at host on 1/11. This could change depending on how strict the lockdowns in California due to COVID get.

Since Alex Trebek is dead, they will soon find a new host of Jeopardy. So don't adjust your television.

In the midst of the excitement of Barker TPIR coming to Pluto today, yesterday saw a historic game show moment, an episode of Jeopardy being taped without Alex Trebek, as Ken Jennings taped his first shows yesterday to air the week of 1/11-1/15

Not to get political, but having political commentators become the new host can be quite a bit risky for either side. If you get someone from CNN or MSNBC, Republicans will vow to boycott. If you get someone from Newsmax, it'll be the same result, but replace Republicans with Democrats.

Remember, Alex Trebek Jeopardy! will be until January 8th. The new guest host, starting January 11th, will be Ken Jennings.

Hi. zouisjr, please don't post this in the news section. We know there's going to be a new host. But there are guest hosts first before a permanent name is announced. Not really newsworthy.

Jboard reported that Katie Couric will be an upcoming Jeopardy! guest host, but doesn't say what week(s) it will be. It will be either the week(s) of 1/18-1/22 or 1/25-29, or she'll be taping when they resume production after COVID lets them. Jboard has stated they've taped only three weeks of shows since Alex died, the first of which were taped on 11/30. They're scheduled to go back on Monday 1/11 if COVID lets them, and that could well be delayed. TPIR and LMAD have delayed going back until late January.
