What does everyone think of the socially-distanced LMAD format? It's painfully obvious that the majority of the deals are going to be in-studio participants, with only one video trader per episode.

I found out on a thread on G-R yesterday that LMAD had taken a huge drop in ratings during the first full week of January 2021 as opposed to that same period a year ago. I am unsure if it has to do with its lead-in in some time zones, "The Talk", now being in last place in the daytime ratings.
Ratings for "The Price is Right" did drop that same week as opposed to the same period a year ago, but is still on top in the daytime ratings regardless. This seems like an abnormal trend, considering that many states have issued stay-at-home orders as far back as December - one would expect for ratings to be at a very high level during these difficult times.
Makes me wonder if the absence of a studio audience in both shows may have been a factor in the ratings drop.

Here in Ohio, we rarely get "The Talk" because Mike Dewine is always on at that hour talking about covid-19 and taking questions about other current events. Sometimes it cuts into LMAD. I don't watch "The Talk" and I don't know if other states are experiencing the same thing as us, but that might explain why ratings for those shows are down.

TPIR and LMAD look awkward as hell in the state they're currently in. I mean, how are you supposed to get help from the audience in the former if they're all stock yells?

I think there was pressure to get new product out there by CBS, so they went with the format they could without being able to use an audience. There will be extra reruns in late February and March if they aren't able to go back to work in the next few weeks. J! and WOF apparently still taped despite COVID shutting down production of most shows this month.

You're telling me that nearly all of the at-home "traders", for lack of a better term, are stock footage? This is something I should've expected, yet I didn't think of it. Everything is stock video, with the exception of WWE (using real-time and at-home audience members). LMAD needs to re-think the at-home part...

Thursday 4/15 is the date on which the current run of LMAD will have been on the air for the same 12 years, six months, and ten days that the original network NBC/ABC version was(12/30/63-7/9/76)

Wow, thanks for filling up the missing Big Deal amounts that Ryan Rinkerman was missing when he filled up his episode guide. Now can you provide us the Big Deal amounts from the earlier weekly version based on the GSN reruns as well including for example: S-092 and S-118 and if 2 episodes have the same Big Deal amount, also include the episode's first deal to help narrow down the difference.

The last taping of the Syndicated version at ABC on Prospect/Talmadge was on May 06, 1976. The first taping of Syndicated Season 6 at Vegas was on August 06 of that same year. The most recent known ABC taping I can think of was #058-LMD-76 on March 23, 1976 (Aired: April 06, 1976). I know this from looking at a shooting script on eBay.

In the cash register deal on the 11/1/2021 episode(as the deal was known on the Monty LMAD), where on Wayne's version, a contestant picks numbers 1-15 hoping to find either $200 or $400 amounts until they hit $2000, without hitting a Zonk, found the two ZOnks on her first two picks, and won the car, just like it happened on Monty's 2010 guest hosting of the deal. Wayne even said they would be doing "the Monty" before her second pick
