Of note, based on a few posts at The Game Show Forum, the Rhyme & Reason intro is from the final week of the series (July 5-9, 1976). So close, and yet so far.

Daniel, two things: Is there an episode guide for the show? Zach Horan (yeah, yeah, I know) says there is one. Also, Wikipedia says the finale was never broadcast, due to what the celebrities did to the set. Well, it MUST have aired if it was just discovered on audio tape.

Is there an episode guide for [ Rhyme & Reason]? Zach Horan (yeah, yeah, I know) says there is one. I wouldn't be surprised if one has been made, if only from old TV Guide listings. IMDB has some listings, and I think TV Tango does as well, but I can't vouch for their accuracy. Wikipedia says the finale was never broadcast, due to what the celebrities did to the set. Well, it MUST have aired if it was just discovered on audio tape. Wikipedia isn't reliable all the time, for one (whether it's more or less reliable than Horan is a discussion for another time). As for the finale, while I'm sure peoples' memories that the set was trashed are legit, the audio alone doesn't make it clear when it started or how extensive the damage was. I've seen rumors that the finale exists on videotape, and given what happened I wouldn't be surprised. (I also wouldn't be surprised if the production company submitted it to the Emmy committee for the 1977 awards.)

Way too many people recall having seen it happening for it to have not aired in some form.

Also has Jay Stewart announcing, confirming that he did indeed do the show. [I had an Aussie Gambit clip here, but I've moved it to the YouTube Wish List thread since it was kind of on mine by way of the Game Shows Wiki. ]

Pretty cool to discover a rare gem like Second Chance, especially since it's an episode never existed on the trading circuit. I wouldn't be surprised if the episode was uploaded by a former contestant. It also appears that the font on the cash slides appears to be bolder. It looks like I will be creating board rotation files for PYL Expert Edition very soon. Also... (read if you dare) We get to see a contestant get four devils, and as a result we get to hear a sound effect never heard before by today's generation. Looks like something else to add to PYL Expert Edition.

www.youtube.com/user/millioncolorsoflight AKA Chelsea Thrasher has posted the full run of a contestant's run on non-celebrity Whew! dating from 9/29/79-8/1/79, 8/3/79, and 8/6/79(Whew! was preempted on 8/2 as the first Thursday of every month back then saw CBS preempt its 10-11AM programming with the monthly magazine show with Sharon Lovejoy hosting). It's not Randy Amasia or Howard Wilson or Steve Leblang either; I think these episodes are making their debut on the game show trading/Youtube circuit.

Were these from the contestant himself, or someone else? The complete run of this show exists, and is held by Burt Suguarman.

I think these episodes are making their debut on the game show trading/Youtube circuit. They are not, as I've had them for a year or so myself. In fact I uploaded the last episode of this collection on my channel awhile back, but I'd much rather people watch over on Chelsea's channel as hers are in better quality. A nice treat of fun Whew! episodes!! Also here's something interesting: an episode of Family Feud that only aired in the Seattle market, featuring some Seattle radio personalities:
