It's too bad we don't know what episodes will be involved in the Press Your Luck marathon on Black Friday, but i would totally not be surprised if it's episodes from the latest lease.
As for the question regarding a Card Sharks marathon on Black Friday, it's not happening, as per Zap2It. A marathon of America Says is after Press Your Luck.
I'll be recording the Press Your Luck marathon on November 23.

Is one of them an episode the day before Thanksgiving? I recall GSN skipping it.
I also see some episodes we just saw on Buzzr not too long ago.

Is one of them an episode the day before Thanksgiving? I recall GSN skipping it. I also see some episodes we just saw on Buzzr not too long ago. I do remember recording Ep. 305 on November 26, 2008, the day before Thanksgiving, and it is still archived on a CD-ROM in my collection. GSN did skip it in this current lease, but it is believed it will be airing in the marathon.
Surprising they chose to air Ep. 305, but still not air Ep. 290 - the Halloween episode.
It appears the July 1984 episode in the marathon was the last episode to air during the short-lived Saturday Night Classics block.
September 12, 1984 was the first full episode I ever got to see since WJBK in Detroit picked up the show two days before - the reason why I was off that day was because the schools were closed for Pope John Paul II's visit to my hometown.
Also, regarding Ep. 305, Chris's last name is Kaas.

Weird... because i just checked GSN's schedule, found nothing regarding contestant names. It’s in the source code. Thanks for clarifying. I cannot view the source code right now, since i am presently on my tablet, but this will certainly come in handy for future reference.
Maybe this viewing of the source code is also prevalent on GameTV's online schedule as well.

Here is the vbscript I wrote to extract the source code into a tab-delimited text file:
on error resume next Set WshShell = WScript.CreateObject("WScript.Shell") Set objFSO = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject") Const adTypeBinary = 1 Const adSaveCreateOverWrite = 2
'Create Stream object Dim BinaryStream Set BinaryStream = CreateObject("ADODB.Stream")
'Specify stream type - we want To save binary data. BinaryStream.Type = adTypeBinary
'Change the output file name and location to suit your needs Set fileout = objFSO.OpenTextFile("h:\backup\GSNdata.txt", 2, true)
Set oHTML = CreateObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP") Set oWeb = CreateObject("InternetExplorer.Application") sURL = "https://www.gsntv.com/schedule/" sPending = GetHtml(sURL)
do while len(sPending) > 0 sPending = Mid(sPending, InStr(sPending, "{""startTime""")+13) t1 = left(sPending, 10) t2 = ConvertUnixTimeStampToDateTime(t1) t2 = DateAdd("h", -5, t2) t3 = cstr(t2) if len(t3) < 15 Then t3 = t3 + " 12:00:00 AM" end if sPending = Mid(sPending, InStr(sPending, """title""")+9) e1 = left(sPending, InStr(sPending, """,""")-1) sPending = Mid(sPending, InStr(sPending, """description""")+15) a1 = left(sPending, InStr(sPending, """,""")-1) sPending = Mid(sPending, InStr(sPending, """contestants""")+15) c1 = left(sPending, InStr(sPending, """,""")-1) c1 = replace(c1, "\r\n", ", ") fileout.Writeline t3 + chr(9) + e1 + chr(9) + a1 + chr(9) + c1 loop sURL = ""
fileout.close Set oHTML = nothing oWeb.Quit Set oWeb = nothing
wscript.quit
Function ConvertUnixTimeStampToDateTime(input_unix_timestamp) 'As String [regular datetime] ConvertUnixTimeStampToDateTime = CStr(DateAdd("s", input_unix_timestamp, "01/01/1970 00:00:00")) End Function

They also claimed to have 260 episodes of $20K Pyramid from 1978-80, and only showed a fraction of those.
