GSN just aired Night 1 of Ladies Night (May 23, 2002). I'm going to assume now that they air Night 2 tomorrow (May 30, 2002), then they will do the rest of the regular episodes up until the last episode (June 27, 2002). GSN will air the last episode of ABC Millionaire on July 5th. July 9th is when the 90 minute finale airs.

Oh, so the March 7 and 28, 2002 episodes will be shown after all. YouTube TV skips those 2 said episodes at first. BTW, does anyone of you have access to all 3 Aaron Spelling episodes in their entirety including the first part of Shari Belafonte's turn at the Hot Seat?

The next future schedule change may be a good time to put Catch 21 to completely rest and have something else take its place.

WWTBAM cycles back to November 1999 on July 10th. Are you sure, YouTube TV has the March 7 and 28, 2002 episodes being skipped but you gang said that those 2 episodes will be shown tomorrow and July 1 respectively. BTW, Chuck Donegan has all 3 Aaron Spelling Classic TV episodes of Millionaire in his collection and they're all OB recordings, and you have the 300th episode from August 7, 2001 in yours. The former doesn't have any recaps at alt.tv.gameshows so I hope Chuck Donegan uploads all 3 of those Aaron Spelling episodes very soon.

They've jumbled up the order here, but here's the schedule for WWTBAM for the next few days. 6/27 (Today): 1/28/02 6/28: 4/4/02 7/1: 3/7/02 7/2: 4/11/02 7/3: 3/28/02 7/4: 4/18/02 7/5: 6/6/02 7/8: 6/20/02 7/9: 6/27/02 7/10: 11/7/99

So it does appear they are skipping the Stars of Aaron Spelling Productions episodes now, unlike back in the late 2000s. That's what happens when one of the stars gets caught in a scandal and gets away with it because of the statute of limitations.

July 9th is when the 90 minute finale airs. Also, on July 1st, at 2PM, Blank Slate and America Says will be replaced by an hour of Wheel of Fortune I like Wheel, but I'm a little disappointed. I enjoy watching America Says in that hour, and Blank Slate kind of grew on me. It was kind of a corny version of Match Game but the show kind of grew on me. I didn't expect it to last though. It got moved from 6pm ET to 2pm ET, so I don't expect Blank Slate to return. It would be nice if Trebek episodes of Jeopardy! came back to the schedule.

On the other hand, 100 episodes of Hey Yahoo were taped, and while GSN aired 62 episodes of the latter, the remaining 38 episodes were never aired.

So, now that Millionaire is in the homestretch, I'd like to ask a question. Did Regis show any signs that he knew the end of the original ABC run was coming?
Of course, it wasn't the end for Regis and Millionaire. He later hosted the short-lived Super Millionaire in 2004 during the February and May sweeps, and the 10th anniversary series in August 2009 - the latter of which wasn't that great due to the dreaded clock format, and the final episode in which a contestant lost on the million dollar question.

At the time I thought the clock was a good thing, I mean, at least it stopped contestants who wanted to yammer through the question, and in some cases contestants wanted to show how smart they were. Now I look back and I'm not a fan of the clock. I wasn't a fan of getting rid of the hot seat either on the daytime version, or the new "money tree" that started at $500. I did kind of enjoy it when they added the categories though when they added the clock. I remember watching when that guy missed on the million dollar question. I watched all those episodes, but that one certainly sticks out. I guess there's a first for everything but I think I was shocked that guy even risked it all on that. Most people are happy with $500,000 and couldn't deal with that kind of heartbreak unless they were absolutely sure of the answer. Well, there's a first time for everything.

I do have to ask and it's something that's been on my mind. Is there any reason that anyone knows about why GSN doesn't air the August 1999 episodes, the very first episodes?
I remember when GSN aired it in the 2000s that they didn't even typically air John Carpenter's episode as part of the rotation, they did during special occasions though I remember. This time around I believe they have aired his episodes in the rotation.

It's not like August 1999 doesn't exist anymore.

It's not like August 1999 doesn't exist anymore. All the episodes of it are on Youtube, I believe. As to why they've not rerun on GSN, it's not known. They reran the Nov 1999 of which some were 30 minutes and some were an hour.
