Starting this Thursday, Man Versus Fly has been removed from the GSN schedule. And nothing of value was lost.

Time to get new leases of MG, PYL and 25K. Match Game: Most likely not yet. Press Your Luck, Eubanks' Card Sharks: We're probably due sooner than later, especially when it's only about three months of Press Your Luck tbat's remaining. But I guess GSN may hold off on leasing those final three months to combat overkill of those same roughly 60 episodes after they pick up these episodes. Viewers got tired of the same cycle of 65 earlier syndicated $ale of the Century episodes, which is why they reverted back to the latter NBC episodes after three cycles. $2%,000 Pyramid: Probably next spring.

I have just received the October 19-25 advanced schedule from GSN. Major schedule changes include Steampunk'd leaving the schedule this week, the six runs of Hellevator (one of them being a new run) and Idiotest shifting new episode timeslots yet again (now to 9pm and 9:30pm ET Wednesday; Family Feud takes the 10pm ET hour Wednesdays). There are also several other minor schedule changes with the Steampunk'd reruns disappearing and Family Feud taking up some more slots/shifting slots, etc. List of all changes: gameshownetworknews.blogspot.com/2015/10/gsn-advanced-schedule-for-october-19-25.html

Those are minor to me since there are no changes in the classics block.

I have received a new advanced schedule for GSN (now up at GameShowNetworkNews and posted below). New episodes of Idiotest move to the 10pm ET timeslot starting November 18th. Hellevator remains new at 8pm and Family Feud will air at 9pm and 9:30pm. There are also episode number changes for Card Sharks and Deal or No Deal in some of their slots. Look for the dark blue on the below schedule. files.acrobat.com/a/preview/3e31ea74-4342-42ba-98de-5e58b1175d94

I know the episodes GSN picked up last July encompassed May 31, 1979 through sometime in August that same year, and that was a 50-episode lease. Makes me wonder if leasing 50 episodes can mean shorter durations for such leases? If only the same thing could happen with the Bob Eubanks' version and Press Your Luck someday.

New PDFs for December 7 to 13 are released on Game Show Follies. No black-and-white shows in late night prevail.
Looks like December 14 is do or die for black-and-white overnight. If the next PDF comes out and no black-and-white shows prevail, then it will be safe to declare that black-and-white shows on GSN are officially done, possibly due to Buzzr, and that may be an indicator of disappointing things to come for die-hard fans of pre-1990s programming on GSN in 2016.

I believe in recent years, the B&W block hasn't been until the latter half/third of December.

... and that may be an indicator of disappointing things to come for die-hard fans of pre-1990s programming on GSN in 2016. Okay, so you're saying that a network that doesn't cover half of a country will be a driving factor for GSN to take everything that's deemed "classic" off of their schedule? What makes you think this? Buzzr will not be the reason. And if by some strange chance that it is, then it will not be the main reason.

I take back my comment about Buzzr being a driving force in GSN's decision to remove pre-1990 msterial. If anything might be a cause, most likely will be low ratings. And GSN's recent acquisition of more Perry's Card Sharks episodes may prove my claim wrong.
