A bit of a damper on the parade - $100,000 Pyramid is gone from the 1am hour beginning on 22 December. Sunday night schedule retooled as follows:
11:30pm: The Chase 12:30am: 1 vs. 100 1:30am: Love Triangle (really GSN?)
But at least we get the B+W shows for a short time.

Isn't Blockbusters that show where contestants have to choose a box with the celebrity giving a question and if the contestant gave the correct answer they won the box and earned points as well for correct answers? Because I've read about Blockbusters when I got the GSN Best Of Classic Quiz And Game Show Themes CD for my birthday and in that CD the Blockbusters theme song can be found there, Kelsey No, it was the program in which the host (Bill Cullen or Bill Rafferty) gave questions to contestants based on the letters they chose from a board made of hexagons (each letter in the regular games represented the first letter of an answer to a question). Each contestant who gave the correct answer to a question won a hexagon and the chance to choose another hexagon in order to create a row of colored hexagons from one side of the board to another side in order to win prize money (no points were involved).

STYD is coming to GSN? Awesome! If this show succeeds, then I hope they bring in Supermarket Sweep.

1:30am: Love Triangle (really GSN?) Isn't that still hanging around in the late night spots on weekends? There's no need for this show, I understand that. But still giving it spots on the schedule is absurd.

I've seen it at 10:30 AM a few times.
I'd prefer if they'd just forget that Love Triangle ever existed, but hey, it will probably be off the schedule soon enough...

I'd prefer if they'd just forget that Love Triangle ever existed... My grandfather used to watch that show whenever it was on. (And Baggage. And Jerry Springer/Maury.) I bet you that if he was still alive, he'd be watching any perverted show he felt like watching. Hell, he once PPV'ed porn - we found that one out when we got the bill in the mail.

9am ET: Blockbusters (Cullen) replaces Super Password - starting from ep 312 I am guessing that GSN will have the rights to the final 60 episodes of the Cullen run of Blockbusters, seeing it would be quite awkward to revert back to #312 while midway through John Hattan's run, which continues into the series' final week. Maybe this is a sign that we may see a 60-episode run of the Rafferty version someday (the final 60 episodes, my best guess). I'm guessing based on your comments, you have a reasonably complete episode guide for Blockbusters? Please please please share.

There were 372 episodes. If they're starting at #312 that's the last 60.

Oh, so that's how Blockbusters is played and that sounds cool. I was reading about Blockbusters in the liner notes of my game show themes CD and I guess I got the rules confused with Break The Bank because that theme plays after the Blockbusters theme. Silly me, Thank You Mario500 for correcting me you are such a dear, Kelsey

I'm guessing based on your comments, you have a reasonably complete episode guide for Blockbusters? Please please please share. ^ This. Plus I do remember seeing the finale listed as #372 when GSN last aired it on Saturday, January 16, 2009. As you requested, here is a complete episode guide of both the Bill Cullen and Bill Rafferty runs of Blockbusters: web.archive.org/web/20120407011507/http://members.fortunecity.com/gswarehouse/bbguide80.htmlThe episode guide is complete, though there is one error in the episode numbering. There is likely a duplicate episode number somewhere in the guide, and showed #371 as the finale. But trust me, the episode guide for the Cullen run is not accurate, and the finale is #372, as I saw such information on the PDF schedule for January 16, 2009. The episode guide for the Rafferty version is accurate, though. The limited run of Blockbusters should start at January 29, 1982 (not February 1, 1982) in the midst of Lanny & Matt's run. This episode guide lists only 4 episodes during last full week of July 1981. A nationwide pre-emption is likely the cause - most likely due to coverage of the wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana.

Really? Shop til you Drop with Pat Finn is coming back?
I think that show has over 1000 episodes. They'll have enough material to run forever!
