Really happy that $ale is back on TV. I never got to see it on USA, so seeing it for those few weeks that I did on GSN in such clear shape was really fun. The USA run of game shows was an interesting time. That was what made me like PYL so much. I was young and really enjoyed the Whammies. I don't think I liked the SFX prior to, though.

For future reference... When will PDF files come out? Not for this specific week, but for future weeks.

Couple of notes:
Press Your Luck moves forward to episode 111 by 13 September. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this beyond the bounds of the last lease by GSN?
The Chase moves into the 4pm ET slot for only Tuesday, 10 September.
Minute to Win It claims the 9pm ET Tuesday slot for the 10th back following The Chase's season finale next week.
Other than that, no changes - at least not from what I can see. I don't pay much attention to the weekend schedules tbh.

Yeah as for weekends, I only watch/DVR Whammy and Password Plus

PDF's are updated to October 20th now. No changes in classics to report, and PYL continues airing the December 1983 to February 1984 of PYL, and the same 65 episodes of Sale of the Century continue their exposure on GSN. They will replay the finale early in October before reverting back to Day 4 of True Romance Week.
Though, 5th Grader reruns exit the GSN schedule starting on September 15. Makes me wonder if the lease to air such show was only for 2 years max?
The good news is, for fans of Bill Rafferty, his week of episodes on Super Password (with Jill Whelan) will start airing on GSN on Wednesday, September 25 up to and including Tuesday, October 1.
Taking the bad news about PYL into consideration, and nothing different in terms of classic shows, I guess it's safe to say I will be back to recording TPIR on a regular basis for a while.

More Feud on the schedule to take 5th Grader's place on weekdays, and it's O'Hurley's version. Really, GSN? Really? How much more 2002+ Feud do you need?
Good news for fans of The Chase though - it's not losing the 9pm Tuesday slot after all. Reruns of season one will continue.
Also, some scattered episodes of Match Game that are being marked as new to GSN.

Is Family Feud gonna also replace Catch 21 on weekdays as well? Because you mentioned that Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader is leaving GSN and I'm also wondering if Catch 21 is leaving GSN too as well. By the way I'm so so so happy that The Chase reruns will still be on GSN because my dad has been dying to see The Chase too, Let me know Mandoli, Kelsey

Is Family Feud gonna also replace Catch 21 on weekdays as well? I honestly couldn't give you an answer on that.

Are there any changes for Password Plus Leases??? As far as I know, no changes. However, last Saturday, I saw an episode from the Regis Phiblin/Betty White week. This is an indicator that we are into the final month of the Password Plus series, or very late in February 1982. We'll probably be seeing the finale by Christmas or close to it, the way we're going. And given that a radio station I recorded 1980s rebroadcasts of American Top 40 from changed the format to modern alternative rock as of August 26, this opens the doors to recording Password Plus every opportunity from this point forward. And it's probably a good thing, seeing that I would like to see the episode with the puzzle with the solution being "Blondie" and Tom Kennedy dancing and singing a line to "The Tide is High".

It all comes down now to a matter of which bands/artists want their songs to be played like this. If someone wants their songs to be played a la Password+, then they'll allow it.

It is up to the band whether or not to clear this singing to air. If GSN had no issues airing that particular episode in 2006 and 2009, I think GSN will air it in the coming weeks, unless something has changed that is. As for the Regis week, I discovered on an online guide that that particular week originally aired late in February 1982. It was the fifth last week of the show's run, in fact. That said, I think the finale should air by Christmas or sometime in January 2014.
