P.S. I do not like how Alex Davis is constantly refusing to approve my comment on his site. I am asking a simple question. Which has nothing to do with the topic at-hand. Stop. On Sunday the 21st, there'll be back-to-back episodes of What's My Line? and To Tell the Truth at 11 PM EST, with the connecting theme of Betty White being on both shows. What's most interesting about this is that both will be from the rarely-seen color syndicated versions, though more details as to specific episodes aren't known right now. Pretty sure the episode of To Tell the Truth is going to be from the Bud Collyer version. Betty extremely rarely appeared on Garry Moore's To Tell the Truth and I think with that episode number it doesn't properly add up to when she appeared on his version of the show. But GSN's leaving something very special in your stocking on Christmas Eve: The twenty-fifth anniversary special What's My Line? at 25, featuring tons of rare clips from the original Sunday-night CBS show you won't see anywhere else — because, sadly, the kinescopes of those episodes were sacrificed to put the special together — and in-studio reminiscing from Mark Goodson, John Daly, and Arlene Francis. This 90-minute retrospective has not been seen since it originally aired on ABC (of all networks!) in 1975. Look for it at 1 AM EST on 25 December. Very pleasing news. My copy of this isn't in too great shape so I am more than OK with finally watching a nice version. If you're a fan of What's My Line?, you're in for a treat!! Some excellent showings from GSN!! Should be something for everyone to enjoy. |

I was so mad a DirecTV because they didn't have it listed as What's My Line in their Guide. I missed a few of them because of the way they listed it. Luckily I finally figured it out and got to watch some of them.
