Is it known exactly how many episodes of the Jack Narz Concentration survives that Buzzr is in possession of? I ask that because even though they only air it once a day and twice on Sundays, I feel like they’ve already cycled through them all. I assume based on the fact that Narz Concentration only gets one airing a day while everything else gets at least two, that Buzzr probably only has a limited number of episodes available and it probably won’t last too long on the schedule after they’ve run through them all for the tenth time.

I don't see any reason why all five seasons wouldn't exist. Why they didn't start with #0011, I don't know.

They have converted 30 episodes of Narz Concentration. Is it know as to whether that’s just all they have, or that’s just how far they got before Coronavirus happened? Hopefully once everything returns to normal they can get to work digitizing more Narz Concentration and the last few years of Alex’s run, getting tired of seeing the same ones over and over.

Quick update on my progress of watching all of the fresh CC episodes, as I am decidedly NOT watching the same ones over and over. I have about 27 episodes left, and, at my current rate of one episode per day, I am tracking to finish by the end of June.
It's funny when I think back that pre-pandemic I was hoping to finish by the end of April. I don't even know how I could have watched that many episodes in such a short time. OTOH, there has an explosion of Classic Sports filling time on national and regional sports networks, so guess if I wasn't watching that, I would have been more focused on watching CC.
Regarding recycled rebuses on CC, I am now seeing a series of rebuses used in the opening for a third time! A full report on all recycled rebuses will be forthcoming after I am caught up.

I’m guessing this has been discussed before, but is it known why Buzzr skipped the 5/12/88 episode of Classic Concentration today? Is there any rhyme or reason behind the skipped episodes, or does it just boil down to missing / damaged tapes and the occasional content issues that Buzzr deems to be inappropriate for whatever reason?

It was shown in a Lucky Wins marathon on March 17.

Thanks, I found it on Youtube, and the comments on the video seem to confirm that Buzzr regularly skips this one in the rotation for reasons that aren’t quite known

Seemed a bit odd to me that Classic Concentration would announce their first year anniversary three weeks after the actual anniversary. But it was what it was. Wheel of Fortune in Daytime did a ten year anniversary celebration for February Sweeps, despite the premiere being a decade and a month prior to that.

It felt so good seeing a never-before-seen-on-BUZZR ep in quite a while. There are like 27 of these skipped episodes left, I can only imagine what marathons BUZZR's saving them for, if any!
Though with several of them, I assume some of them are obvious.

Some of the skipped episodes were two weeks from Summer 1988 where they used copyrighted music, and it was surmised that was the reason they were skipped.

I suppose that now that new-to-BUZZR episodes of the Narz era of Concentration aired, we should talk about them, yes?
Let me tell you, the number calling in tonight's episode was just insane. XD

I suppose that now that new-to-BUZZR episodes of the Narz era of Concentration aired, we should talk about them, yes? Let me tell you, the number calling in tonight's episode was just insane. XD Some of the contestants do come off as idiots, especially in the Narz Concentration episode from last night. When watching CC, I have often thought about strategies to remember where the prizes are, and what I would try. I guess some people focus on locations, like corners. Others might focus on specific numbers, like Alex's favorite #, 22, or their birthdays. Narz Concentration poses an immediate challenge to its contestants with the rapid fire reveal of four "head starts". It is a lot information to retain in a short time, especially with the locations being random. What I am saying is that the contestants who take the effort to employ cognitive clues, and who can successfully use them under the TV lights are the ones who make the most matches. I have noticed at times while watching CC when a contestant has a opportunity to clear the board (based on the remaining unseen boxes and the prizes that have been revealed), but they aren't able to do it.

Here's an interesting question I have about the 1987-1991 version: Did it actually change timeslots in January 1991, and did Alex announce such a thing? On WNBC, it was at 10:30 a.m. all through 1991.
Oddly, it aired at 3:00 p.m. with a local show called House Party airing in the morning all through 1990.
