@aarsdy I'd like some clarification. When and why did Buzzr move to a new feed, and how long is this gonna be? Also, why is everything looking like film and lacking the smoothness and fluidness that was there previously? Is all of this due to COVID-19? It's nice that you think I know the answers to these why questions... but I do know exactly when this happened (at least in New York City): July 24 during the airing of Blockbusters 267. About five mins in the channel blacked out, and after ten minutes or so, it returned with the new ratio and a clicking sound instead of the actual audio of the show.
The new wave look takes some getting used to, but the quality is better... I disagree about the smoothness and fluidness being better before. The new image is less blocky and noisy - comparing things like the opening question on an episode of Split Second, you'd see that there's a lot less noise around the on screen text.

It's not just a commercial. Breakfast with Buzzr branding with a sunny side-up egg version of the Buzzr logo started this morning.

So, starting with MG74 276 that aired last Friday, the commercial edited episodes have a runtime of about 30 seconds shorter than the ones that aired prior to that (266-275). Am I missing some extra cuts Buzzr is doing, or are they being sped up? Just curious if it's something Buzzr is doing or were the originals 30 seconds shorter as well?

The new batch started with 266, which is the normal run time of around 21:30. So, if they made a change, it was mid-batch of fresh episodes. My file for 296, which aired earlier, is 21:14 and the most recent episode that aired is 20:55, so maybe it's more like 20 seconds difference. Could be the show just getting naturally shorter. Usually the music is the tell for the speed-ups.

Last episode taped of The All New Let's Make a Deal, and what a way to end it, with a car win in Door #4.

Last episode taped of The All New Let's Make a Deal, and what a way to end it, with a car win in Door #4. One of the checks in the first deal had a 10/24/1985 airdate, and the later date on the other check, 6/11/1986, was a Wednesday

I watch on the imdb stream. Does anyone know why concentration is getting blurry and clear and blurry and clear back and forth? Is it only on IMDb or is it all ways to watch buzzr?

I watch on the imdb stream. Does anyone know why concentration is getting blurry and clear and blurry and clear back and forth? Is it only on IMDb or is it all ways to watch buzzr? We're seeing the same thing via Roku. Haven't tried it via the Buzzr website but since everything else looks normal, I suspect the blurring is part of their feed. My guess would be that there was an error when the tapes were digitized. I've seen sources where it looks like there's a keyframe every second or so that's nice and crisp, and then some sort of filter has been automatically applied to hide compression artifacts before the next keyframe. However I'm not seeing that here -- it doesn't look like compression artifacts after a keyframe, but more like a blur filter is being switched on and off rhythmically, about once every second. Anyway I don't know what software or hardware they're using, and how it would cause this exact error. Really annoying to look at, though. EDIT: Now that I watch it some more it looks like the picture itself is shifting by about 1 scanline every time the blurriness kicks in or stops. Maybe that's the culprit in some way? Maybe the original tape had some sort of out-of-spec signal that's confusing the encoder?

Maybe the original tape had some sort of out-of-spec signal that's confusing the encoder? I find it very strange how in the initial promos for Concentration, there is smoothness and fluidness, exactly as you'd see on a 60fps NTSC videotape master. But in the actual episodes, the entire motion looks like film. Another example is in the newer reruns of The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour on Get TV. Promos have smoothness and fluidness; the actual episodes do not.

Are the episodes of the Eubanks Card Sharks broadcast August 21st thru Sept. 7 2020 on Buzzr available on You Tube or elsewhere on the interwebs? My DVD messed up and was basically wiped out when I tried to finalize it. Does anyone know if those 8/21 thru 9/7 Buzzr broadcast episodes are on the internet?
Thank you.
