It appears the wrong episode of "Classic Concentration" aired this evening. #153 was scheduled, but #85 aired instead.

Take Your Choice did not start immediately after It Had To Be You ended. Instead, BUZZR went to commercial!

Mindreaders was one of several game shows that never got clearance here in Atlanta originally, so Buzzr's airing of this test episode during the marathon marked the first time it aired in this city ever.

Well, if this year's Lost and Found has taught us anything, it's that Fremantle can buy stuff from the UCLA Film and Television Archives. Look what I found: search.library.ucla.edu/discovery/search?query=sub,exact,Quiz%20shows,AND&pfilter=rtype,exact,videos,AND&tab=FTVA_slot&search_scope=FTVA&vid=01UCS_LAL:UCLA&mode=advanced&offset=0 Just by digging around, I see that UCLA's got: 9 episodes of Garagiola $ale from 1971 and 1973 Six episodes of Concentration from 1971, one from 1977, some episodes from the 1st Challenge of Champions (1963) and one from the 7th (1970). Three episodes of Classic Concentration. A 1975 episode of Split Second (the finale, to be exact); and at least 11 other episodes. Three episodes of Trebek Double Dare. There's also a large number of episodes of The Object Is, hosted by Dick Clark. So, what do you think? Should Fremantle continue to dig into the Archives? What would you like to see next year?

Yes, dig. They've also got several ABC episodes of Password, including one from the premiere week.

A lot of Name That Tune, too. Unfortunately, those rights may belong to Banijay now.

That's more Buzzr playing the wrong episode, with the commercial breaks marked for the correct episode, than the editing of the episode itself. Maybe they'll notice that and fix it for future airings, including Sunday. Based on their track record of other mislabeled/wrong airings that never get fixed, I'm not holding much hope. Color me shocked, Sunday's re-airings of the Monday and Tuesday episodes of Whew! had the commercial insertion points fixed.

I'd like one year to be dedicated to Pilots of shows that made air and were successful. Like Family Feud, Second Chance / Press Your Luck, Blockbusters, maybe one of the Passwords.

One thing I have noticed with the current fresh batch of Classic Concentration is that the program description in the Xfinity (aka Comcast) Program Guide lists an original air date that matches with my notes.
I have been having issues DVR'ing the current fresh Narz Concentration in the 9 AM morning slot. The actual program was starting so early that even with a "start two minutes early" cushion (the maximum), my recordings were starting during the "head start" of the first game. In order to reliably capture each entire episode of Narz Concentration, I have switched to DVR'ing the prior program "What's My Line" with an "end 30 minutes late" extension.

I've read a lot of conflicting reports regarding Concentration over the years (some rando under the handle "2inchquad" claimed NBC still had the tapes at 30 Rock several years ago at the Game Show Forum, Blumenthal claimed otherwise). So if Buzzr were to persue the NBC years, it would be best to determine what exactly is in NBC's possesion and in what condition before looking at UCLA.

Does your guide give you the option to pick 5 minutes early? That's what I had set on my Spectrum DVR recording and it's helped a lot. I just fast forward about a minute and a half and it starts so the show actually airs at 5:56 am (8:56 am east coast).
