I have to say this is the first evening/prime time lineup I've really, really liked. MG when I get home from work, followed by Feud. I like Card Sharks and PYL but if I only saw them every so often that would be good. Their new time slot means I won't see them a lot but do get to see PW+, LMAD, SOTC, and TT (which I never saw until BUZZR came on the air).

I personally don't watch a lot of primetime TV nowadays so to be able to unwind with the classics is nice.

Have no idea if this is real or just a quirk on the ScreenerTV schedules. But that web site is now showing a major shakeup in the Buzzr weekday schedule starting February 28. So far the prime time schedule for Tuesday and Wednesday of that week is up on ScreenerTV (all times Eastern)... Tuesday Feb 28 8:00 PM Let's Make a Deal8:30 PM Let's Make a Deal9:00 PM Tattletales9:30 PM Tattletales10:00 PM Press Your Luck10:30 PM Press Your LuckWednesday Mar 1 8:00 PM Let's Make a Deal8:30 PM Let's Make a Deal9:00 PM Tattletales9:30 PM Tattletales10:00 PM Super Password10:30 PM Super Password
No word yet on what happens the rest of the week. There are plenty of other changes throughout the day. Basically, Match Game and Family Feud get cut back a lot. Maybe Fremantle execs really are tired of complaints about overuse. Other shows slot in here and there with no apparent pattern, except the three black-and-white stalwarts (TTTT, WML, IGAS) always stay together. You can check out the schedule here. We'll see what happens as more days are added to the ScreenerTV listings. And in some real game show Kremlinology, the Buzzr web site is now showing more recent color versions of To Tell the Truth in its banner. A hint of things to come?

If this schedule is true I don't like it.

As I said in my original post, I have no idea if the ScreenerTV schedule is accurate or not. It's kind of hard to imagine the site just coming up with an entirely different schedule out of nowhere. And Fremantle has been hearing from media types - though not the game show Interwebs - about the Match Game/Family Feud overload.
That said, I haven't gotten any press releases from Buzzr about a schedule change. Usually, a lot of stuff from the diginet lands in my inbox about anything new. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

It's been really nice seeing the daytime Combs version of Feud. I never really got to see a whole lot of this when it was on GSN. The last couple of times it was on, it was the syndicated era. I do agree that they could stand to cut back a bit on the Feud and MG airings. For instance, an hour of Dawson and Combs Feud each is sufficient. It doesn't particularly help matters that in the 10a-12p/12p-2p blocks of MG and Feud that they're the same batches of episodes that Buzzr's had since they've launched.
I'm also really enjoying the primetime lineup. Though I'm usually binge watching 5 episodes in a row of something when I can spare some time, and that's the perfect number of episodes to make a DVD of something.

Yep, the new schedule was just a temporary goof by ScreenerTV. The site now has the current schedule as far as the eye can see.

Our nearly 11 month old has been home sick the last couple of days so I've been off work to take care of him. I've noticed the daytime schedule doesn't exactly have any pattern to it in some ways. After seeing Super Password for 2 hours yesterday morning it was an hour of it today followed by an hour of Body Language. The noon-2pm Family Feud seems to be whatever year they hit on a dartboard. Yesterday there was a celebrity episode with other years surrounding t. Today at 12:30 there was a Combs era one followed by two shows from 85.

I'll be looking forward to the 1994 version if that's what they're showing. EVERY time that's aired on GSN I happened to miss it. Or will this be a latter Combs episode?

Should have said 93, which is a 5-episode special of NFC Quarterbacks vs. AFC Quarterbacks which start airing on Tuesday 2/21. Then they revert back to 1989 episodes. You can see for yourself using this URL, just change the date in the URL for each day's schedule. buzzrplay.com/schedule/schedule_by_date/2017/02/21/America/New_York

Out of boredom, I put together a grid of the BUZZR schedule for the next 7 days. It kind of shows the method behind the madness of their scheduling. If I have time, I might go ahead and write a script to generate these going forward. BUZZR_Schedule.xlsx (12.19 KB)

One thing I do wish is the weekend had something other than mostly reruns of what aired during the week.
