Man... I hope I get this channel someday. I don't know what I'm missing, or maybe I do. I'll work on getting some shows up here once the network debuts. For now, this channel has a couple of promos that have been running this afternoon. www.youtube.com/channel/UCsPP4TeaiYBLiml8kur6LCAThat's cool, it was interesting seeing the promos. If and/or when I get it someday, I could see watching this channel a lot. Maybe someday.

Just got home at 6:00 and when I turned on the TV, I saw this: The Jim Perry Card Sharks and Super Password test airings interspersed with the Monty Hall interview by Wayne Brady are on here now. I didn't cancel all the earlier recordings I made for the day so I went back through one... and I see that the feed switched over this morning around 11:30.

It appears to just be the same Super Password and Card Sharks airing over and over until 8 I guess. I.thought of something. While I am sure it would only net them 7 or 8 more subs, they should add this channel to the CBS All Access app they have. It's their channel and their shows. Can't imagine it would cost much to add it there.

Please note the movement of this thread to the general game shows subforum along with its renaming. This topic may be used to continue discussing Buzzr - schedules, ratings, stations, things like that.

My feed just inexplicably died. As in the channel itself disappeared. Still have 13-1 and 13-2 but as of this moment, 13-3 (Buzzr) is gone.

They're airing Match Game from early March 1978 now, with George Kennedy, Brett, Charles, Patty Duke Astin, Richard, and Patti Deutsch. Curiously, they started with the Friday episode, and are now airing what I assume is an earlier one from that week. The fee plugs (coming out of a commercial break with the vamp music) were kept intact in the first episode, and the credits uncrunched (with a Fremantle logo added at the end).
Also, a promo confirms that the afternoon airings of Match Game and Family Feud are all Rayburn and Dawson respectively. Still hoping Combs will turn up somewhere.

Sounds like the weeknight versions of the G-T panel shows will be black and white. Any confirmation on if the weekend versions will be syndicated runs?
Also of note, the Match Game '78 episode!! Those mid-show fee plugs were never aired by GSN ever. I wonder if it'll be like that for the long haul or if this is just a special thing for tonight as filler. We'll see I guess!!

Hope that Buzzr will be a huge hit! And go to many more cable and satellite channels.

Did some quick skimming of the overnight shows. I noticed an original commercial during one of the IGaS episodes.
So far the day starts off with Nighttime Family Feud with Richard Dawson at 6 am. Tattletales next at 7 am, starting from the 1974 premiere.
Not sure what's coming but I bet the version of Blockbusters that's coming is Bill Cullen's.

I was afraid of this when Buzzr was announced. Even commented on the possibility at Game Show Follies. But the guy who runs the terrific What's My Line channel on YouTube has posted this comment...Today's YouTube Rerun for 6/2/15: Watch along and join the discussion -- while you still can. For those who may not yet be aware, the WML channel is currently under direct attack by Fremantle due to totally unjustifiable, outrageous copyright claims which they've only started filing because they just launched their new TV station, Buzzr. I intend to fight this in any way I can (the CBS WML series is not copyrighted and never was), even if I have to go as far as to hire a copyright attorney. But the WML channel's days may be numbered no matter what I do, folks. So much for the idea that Buzzr was just a project to get people to post videos on YouTube. Now that Buzzr is trying to make money off old game shows, Fremantle is fighting the people who want to post classic videos. Yes, I can respect Fremantle's intellectual property rights. They own the shows - at least some of the CBS WML is probably still under copyright - and they can enforce their rights to them. But it seems like such enforcement would alienate the very fans they're trying to attract to the TV subchannel. Anyway, I hope the superb YouTube WML channel somehow survives, along with thousands of other classic clips on YouTube. Like most people in the U.S., I can't get Buzzr on my cable system.

If it's available on YouTube, it is theoretically a hindrance to begging your local affiliate to carry the channel. So it makes sense for them to do this.

I could beg Time Warner all day long. Won't make any difference. Anyway, the whole idea that Fremantle launched Buzzr TV to generate YouTube videos was always, let's say, counter-intuitive. Looks like they're gonna come after YouTube posters hard.
Still not gonna bother with a TV antenna hookup to get one subchannel.

Well, this doubly sucks for people without Buzzr...no network and no YouTube.
