Primetime:8 PM: Let's Make a Deal's primetime episodes started with the 1970's syndicated version. There are two of them. Just as a question: do either of these shows have a yellow curtain at the back of the audience, rather than a blue one? If so, it's from the ABC primetime run (1969-71). For whatever reason, three episodes from that version (including at least two from late 1970) got mixed into the Season 1 syndication package...and, as a result, got aired by GSN years later.

The guy who runs the terrific but endangered What's My Line channel on YouTube reports on my blog that Fremantle and Buzzr have managed to block 15 videos and get his account "in bad standing." A purely idiotic move by Buzzr, IMO, but what can anybody do? Nice to know that Buzzr has plenty of time to persecute classics fans who create great sites on YouTube, but not enough time to post a schedule or to get their dinky little subchannel onto more cable systems.
Meanwhile, Douglas Pucci reports that GSN averaged 732K viewers for prime time on May 31. Don't hold your breath until Buzzr does anywhere close to those numbers. (Sorry, if it sounds like I'm p.o.ed at Buzzr, it's because I am p.o.ed at Buzzr.)

Then they better do folks a favor and get it into more markets. You can't have a baker's dozen with this channel while the rest of the US population sits (im)patiently.

Yes, watched them in full just now and one of those aired (the 8:30/11:30 one). That totally slipped my mind. Will update post to reflect that.

If Buzzr was seen here in Louisville, then I'd love to see it but does it only have to be on Fox station subchannels?

It doesn't HAVE to be, no. But that's pretty much all it is right now since Fremantle struck a deal to carry it on Fox O & O. You (and other people who would want it) need to contact your local affiliates and ask them to carry it. If they got enough requests they would strongly consider it.

Nope, any station or station group can agree to carry Buzzr. For example, Nexstar owns station WJET-TV Erie, the ABC affiliate on channel 24. They also own stations WBRE-TV Wilkes-Barre (NBC, Channel 28) and WYOU-TV Scranton (CBS, Channel 22). If Nexstar were to agree to carry Buzzr in their 60 markets that don't already have Buzzr, you'd find Buzzr on a variety of ABC, CBS, NBC, The CW, and MyNetworkTV stations.
Another example is Tribune, who owns WNEP-TV Scranton (ABC, Channel 16), WPIX-TV New York (Thew CW, Channel 11), and WPHL-TV Philadelphia (MyNetworkTV, Channel 17). Though it is highly unlikely that they have interest in a competitor's subchannel, a deal with Tribune would only apply to stations in markets that don't carry Buzzr. So, of those three, the only one that would carry Buzzr would be WNEP-TV since WTXF-TV carries Buzzr in Philadelphia, and WWOR-TV carries Buzzr in the New York market.

I hold out hope for Buzzr on WBRE or WYOU because they are the only ones in this market that do not have a subchannel atm besides 22.1/28.1. WNEP would likely be out anyway since they already have a subchannel for AntennaTV/WNEP2. As an aside, I read on Facebook that Nexstar was negotiating with Fremantle for Buzzr. But, usual caveats apply there.

If a station already has a .2 then that shouldn't be an issue. They can add a .3 easily if they want another subchannel to join them. Hell, in Atlanta there's a small low-power TV station that has literally just about 20 different subchannels (most don't have a bunch to offer like the bigger national ones, and a few are audio only broadcasts of radio stations, but still). That shouldn't be a problem.
In my time on YouTube, 7 years uploading out of 9, I've posted a grand total of 6 out of 1,100+ episodes of Tattletales and I still got blocks for 2 of them, and a block was put up for a TTTT episode out of the small number I've posted compared to the thousands that are available of that show, too, so they're not just coming for the big uploaders who upload entire series' runs. I love what they're doing with Buzzr and I'm enjoying their programming. I'm grateful to have the channel and I'm rooting for it to succeed, but this whole issue with Fremantle International and YouTube uploaders has been very messy and unfortunate.

20? ? What are they showing?! Most of them are nothing to write home about, tbh. The only ones worth watching IMO are This TV and Retro TV. As for the rest, a couple of shopping and infomercial channels, about 3 channels that the station owns that run old public domain stuff, and audio only broadcasts of local radio stations (and one of them repeats). One is a local version of a scrolling TV Guide, like how the old Prevue channel was. Two channels are blank. The better subchannels are a part of the bigger stations here. But basically if a station wants to add a .3 or .4 to get Buzzr, Laff, or any of the other nationally run channels that just launched, it can be done. Just remember to keep writing, calling, e-mailing your local stations if someone doesn't have it yet and don't give up hope.

I noticed on Buzzr's wikipedia page that Fresno is getting this as the first non-Fox O&O station to get it, it's owned by Cocola broadcasting, which apparently I get channels owned by Cocola. At first I thought I was getting channels from a different city, but it appears it is in my market. Buzzr isn't included yet, but a couple of channels are for sell in that sub channel so, we'll see if anything happens for me in the future as far as buzzr goes.
The channel I get Cocola owns to note about around here is MundoFox and thats 49.1.

Same here. The one episode of Tattletales I had up (a master copy of #0027) was blocked worldwide; I've opted to delete the video. My comment about Sony's lawyers possibly having replaced Fremantle's still applies. Going after the What's My Line? (CBS) megachannel is at least very, very slightly understandable given how much is up there, but little nobody channels like yourself and myself?

The Tampa feed for this channel is awful! I've complained to them and to this point it's done no good. Monday the station died and at some point that night it came back fine. When I watched before work Tuesday morning, it was a good strong feed. But when I got home Tuesday evening the picture is constantly freezing and going black. One would think maybe it's my antenna, but when it goes black the logo for the local station is still there so it's them. Didnt watch Wednesday or Thursday but here it is Friday and it's still going on. I know this won't do any good either buy just felt like venting. Sorry.

^ You sound as frustrated as I am here trying to pick up Retro TV. It can barely come in no matter where the antenna is moved and pointed at in the room. And sometimes it comes in wonderfully out of nowhere for brief bits. Does the .1 channel or .2 channel do this too or is it just Buzzr?
