...Aaaand here's the promo. The promise they've made since the 2015 launch, finally kept.

One of today's Feud episodes (83-121) is the 8th anniversary episode with a taped message from Mark Goodson.

I saw that one and wondered why they were calling it the 8th anniversary when Feud debuted in 1976, making it the 7th anniversary (which aired a day late). One of today's Feud episodes (83-121) is the 8th anniversary episode with a taped message from Mark Goodson.

They acknowledged it was the start of the 8th year but also used the phrase 8th anniversary.

BUZZR is now up to the celebrity guests being introduced by a close-up shot during Gene Wood's introductions for Super Password, even though episode 622 (2/23/1987) did not do it.

For whatever reason, the live stream's not working on Google Chrome, and on Firefox and Edge, it is windowboxed. Because of this, Jennings had to switch handbrake. I have no idea if Buzzr is ever gonna fix this. Quite possible that they've just fixed it now. "Just" fixed it now as in only 5 minutes ago, I tried it and got the not-working error that it'd been giving. Went back to try it again - in part because I'm not 100% sure what you mean by windowboxing - and surprise! It worked. ETA: ...and...it's showing commercials that would normally only be seen OTA. Not sure what to make of this.

This is an example of it. www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.redd.it%2F0xmtgpzcrsd61.png%3Fauto%3Dwebp%26s%3Dece4555c9d15054632761491fac512b53f7675a7

But until just earlier, the stream wouldn't work for me at all for the past few weeks. And all of this for me is on Firefox.

Recently was able to help the daughter of a man who appeared on To Tell the Truth in 1974 by getting her a copy of the episode. Ten family members spanning three generations endured a shipwreck at sea and survived. She was ten at the time and the trauma still exists. I wanted to ask her a bunch of questions, both about the show and the incident, but it feels invasive. Also ran into someone who appeared on the show (briefly, as a relative of central figure) a year ago. I love many, many different gameshows and yet there is something completely different and special about this [particular run of the] show. Be it the pleasant personality of Garry Moore, the ever-present Bill Cullen, the other panelists, the quality and variety of interesting persons being featured. Only two games are played (as opposed to 3 or 2-and-something-else in other incarnations) which left room for special demonstrations of their skill, film footage of achievements, up-close review of materials and lengthier discussions, and often really great sign-offs that made you happy you waited out the final commercial break for the credit roll, which also showed a moment where contestants got to meet and speak with the panel and Garry. Happy to have discovered this gem through Buzzr and see it go from overnight to morning to evening. Hoping it notches upward in fresh priority. Excited for new batch next week (clearly).

I also love Garry Moore's TTTT as you can see from my avatar. It's the best iteration of any of the Goodson panel guessing games, IMO.

Have they aired the Feud episode were Richard Dawson pays tribute to Allen Ludden at the end.

I have never seen a show where the panelists seem to be full of knowledge about the subjects presented. The 3 C's Peggy Cass knows about Travel. Kitty Carlisle about Hollywood and Broadway. Bill Cullen about flying.
