You are talking about a small niche of a pretty small niche that is airing on a subchannel. They will not invest in things that cost a lot of money unless it gets a lot more popular. One of the things to remember is while people can get subchannels easily with cable, you have to use an antenna if you are a satellite subscriber. At least we did back when we had one. There are not many people (and that included me then) who are going to bother with an antenna to get these type stations when they already get the main networks. They'll have the feeling it isn't worth it and if Directv/Dish ever ads them, fine. Otherwise they aren't worrying about it. That's what? 10-20% of many markets now? Networks like this are going to run cheap rerun programs and possible first run delays an hour or two after they air on another channel until these are more accessible and more popular. Any call in show and new shows exclusively for them are probably many years away.

That's one of the points I was trying to make. Another point I was trying to make. Back in January, I got an Antenna from Amazon because I had a gift card for my birthday. One was rabbit ears and that was crap. I got a different one that I'm using now and it works really great where I'm at. I don't get all the channels, but I get the ones I was interested in in the first place. It all depends on your distance from the transmitter. I didn't realize that you don't have to buy the rabbit ears. You still have to adjust the newer antennas, but they're much better IMO. I discovered stations like MeTV in 2012, and had no way of getting them at the time. I had thought this year since I had the gift card I'd get an antenna and it works pretty well for me.

I know you were saying many things I repeated. You asked what we thought and I was really pointing out how far that mountain is to climb before you get to any kind of exclusive content.
I'm glad it works for you. But most people arent even going to try. I live in a major city and either I'm antenna stupid or there's something else wrong around here because I've tried rabbit ears and that square looking antenna and I have no luck getting half the channels available with a good signal.

I know, I was just quoting some parts other than the antenna part. All thoughts are welcome. It also really depends on how far you are from the TV transmitter and sometimes trees and buildings can block certain signals. I've seen commercials for "Clear TV". I don't know if it's any good or not, but they look like a quality product, but I wouldn't know for sure. www.cleartv.com/Antenna's can be a pain, especially rabbit ears. Don't get me started on rabbit ears. Just recommendations, for anybody, but I'm not sure about clearTV of course. You'd have to be the judge if you would want to risk getting a new antenna or another antenna for those of you who have already had antenna's before.

Game Show Forum is trying to figure out exactly what Buzzr will run on its schedule. Seems to be up in the air (sorry). I posted this on my blog... A poster on the board formerly known as Matt Ottinger's says: "Per a press source, the Buzzr launch schedule hasn't been finalized yet, so stay tuned." Gotta agree with Chad Mosher, who responds: "I don't work in running TV stations, but wouldn't that be an important thing to have figured out a week and a half before you're set to take off?" Your guess may be as good as Buzzr execs on what exactly the subchannel will run. The Buzzr TV website is still just a splash screen with no info on a schedule or stations carrying the subchannel or much of anything else, beyond the June 1 launch date. There's a bit more material on Buzzr TV's Facebook page, but not much more real information.

This reminds me of what happened with new comedy subchannel Laff's launch last month. It was the same exact thing. There were a couple articles mentioning a few of the sitcoms that would air and movies, but no schedule was up, not even on the official site, until it actually went on the air. Don't know why or how this happens. But based on the trailer for Buzzr, we should at least be getting some good shows.
I hope the new schedule comes as soon as possible though, because whenever a new channel shows up for me, my TiVo usually takes several days for the lineup and program information to finally come on the on-screen guide. Until then it's "to be announced" and I hate having hour and two-hour recordings that just say that. First world problems, I know. But it irks me. lol.

It's Wednesday and still no schedule. Makes me wonder if this is really launching Monday at all. "Anticipated Launch Date". That's what Wikipedia has up on the page of Buzzr. That doesn't necessarily mean that the channel will launch on that day specifically. There might be some minor things to sort out.

Here's what appears to be the Monday-Friday schedule, according to BuzzerBlog:
6AM/6:30A Family Feud 7A/7:30A Tattletales 8A Child's Play 8:30A Body Language 9A Blockbusters 9:30 Card Sharks 10A/10:30A Match Game 11A/11:30A Family Feud 12P/12:30P Super Password 1P/1:30P Press Your Luck 2P Child's Play 2:30P Body Language 3P Blockbusters 3:30P Card Sharks 4P/4:30P Match Game 5P/5:30P Family Feud 6P/6:30P Super Password 7P/7:30P Press Your Luck 8P/8:30P Let's Make a Deal 9P/9:30P Match Game 10P/10:30P Tattletales 11P/11:30P Let's Make a Deal 12A/12:30A Match Game 1A/1:30A Tattletales 2A-4A "Buzz Til Dawn" (To Tell the Truth/What's My Line/I've Got a Secret) 4A-6A "Buzz Til Dawn" (To Tell the Truth/What's My Line/I've Got a Secret)
Unfortunately, no words yet on specific versions, so no complaints about "Steve Harvey overdose"; for all we know the scheduled versions could be Dawson and/or Combs.

I'm hoping 8-2pm and the 2-8pm blocks are repeated and these aren't different shows. I would assume they are as well as the 3 hour prime time block is repeated also.

Lots of great stuff on this schedule. As indicated by the promos, the network seems very heavily oriented towards '70s and '80s shows - and besides PYL and LMaD, they're all from the Goodson library. Most of the well-known titles are there, though it looks like Password Plus is MIA, and there only seems to be one version of Card Sharks (probably Perry's judging from the promo). While it's not confirmed, I doubt any of these shows will be the modern versions, since they'd seem out of place on such heavily retro schedule (plus I would think they'd want to air the modern Feuds in prime time if anything). Since it's been said that there will be more than one Feud host, I'm guessing Combs will be the other one.
Anything that debuted before the '70s seems to be restricted to the "Buzz 'Til Dawn" block, which I'm guessing will consist of black and white shows. Just a thought... I would have loved to see the syndie WML and TTTT, and I think that the 6-8 AM block (which doesn't repeat anywhere else) would be ideal for them. But hey, I can't complain too much with all these classic shows airing.

Some of the others like Password Plus could be airing on the weekend.

There's plenty to look forward to on this schedule. Wondering what, if any, will repeat in the same day.
I've never had access to Tattletales on a channel on a regular schedule before. I can't wait to see it on Buzzr.

My reaction on Game Show Follies... Buzzr's reported schedule
A source on the board formerly known as Matt Ottinger's is reporting the Buzzr weekday schedule. Looks like an 8:00 AM-2:00 PM block will repeat 2:00 PM-8:00 PM. Prime time is Let's Make a Deal, Match Game, and (rather oddly) Tattletales. I would have figured Family Feud in prime, but what do I know? The prime time block then repeats 11:00 PM-2:00 AM. A 2:00 AM-4:00 AM graveyard black-and-white block repeats 4:00 AM-6:00 AM. The Price is Right is conspicuously absent, as are any non-Fremantle shows. Sorry to be cynical, but if Buzzr buys Nielsen demo data, they may set a record with a triple-digit median viewer age (slight, but only slight, exaggeration). The reported schedule, though I can't vouch for it: [Same schedule as posted above] There's no sign of the Buzzr YouTube shorts, as had been rumored. Sooner or later - my guess is sooner - something with less dust on it will probably turn up on the schedule. And we'll restart the entire cycle of GSN-ish complaints about too much modern and original stuff and not enough classics. One other thing: a commenter asked if Buzzr will be sending me schedules, like GSN. Nope, I haven't even gotten a press release from Buzzr, much less any schedules. I assume Buzzr will release the schedule soon to the listing services. And to respond to one comment above, I would be very surprised if Harvey Feud is on the initial schedule. Media reports specifically stated that Steve would not be on Buzzr at its launch, though there seem to be plans to add the show later.

There are going to be some folks around here who aren't going to like that (those who don't get the network don't count). Get ready for the blasting of that decision...
