In the fall of 1990 Buena Vista Entertainment launched The Challengers and it tested contestants knowledge of what happened in the news and the world. At the start of each episode The Challengers had the Sprint Round where contestants had the chance to win money in a time limit. Though it lasted only two seasons {I cannot actually remember when The Challengers was cancelled} It is considered one of the most underrated game shows and I wish it would be revived someday soon because The Challengers was a neat game show that taught people about the news, Who remembers when The Challengers debuted?, Kelsey

The Challengers is one of those underrated shows. I agree with you that it should come back.

It was based on an even older game show called "The Who, What, or Where Game" I found an episode in three parts. Part 1
Part 2Part 3

I wish this would come back. Such a good game. And it had a kick-ass theme song, too.

Shame GSN's "Time Capsule" tanked.
Would have LOVED to see a "25th Anniversary" rerun 25 years to the airdate day.
And remember, the airdate was visible for each show.

And remember, the airdate was visible for each show. Not during repeats...

Except the date was always visible on the TVs on parts of the set.
And I remember they only reran the Sneak Preview episode.
