Best-known for his career in baseball and broadcasting as well, but known in our corner for hosting He Said, She Said, the final year of the 1970s To Tell The Truth, the last two years of the original $ale of the Century, and $trike it Rich. Source

Rest in peace.
Now all the $ale of the Century hosts here in the United States (not counting the short-lived Temptation in 2007) have passed. The other two were Jack Kelly (Host of the original version from 1969 to 1971) and, of course, Jim Perry (Host of the 80's revival from 1983 to 1989).

As a fellow St Louisan, I am also saddened by the passing of Joe Garagiola, who not only hosted the game shows listed above, he also did quite a bit for his hometown.
Thank you so much, Joe.

As a Pirates fan, I was also saddened when I heard about Joe's passing.
RIP.

RIP. He was a very good host and panelist. Loved him on To Tell The Truth.

I just found another game show he had hosted. It was a short-lived show on NBC called Memory Game, aka Joe Garagiola's Memory Game.
