Patti Deutsch, comedienne famous for her role in Laugh-In, who occasionally occupied the bottom right panelist's slot on Match Game in the 70s, has died of cancer at age 73. Story HERE.

Cancer sucks. R.I.P. Patti. You will be missed. EDIT: Here's something sad, with Patti's passing, there are now some panels on 70's Match Game where all the celebrities have passed away.

And as of this moment, at least 2 celebrities from her week of the All New Beat the Clock are still with us, she now joins Bobby Van, Roxie Roker, Louis Nye, Robert Donner, Gordon Jump, Sorrell Brooke and more recent passings such Jack Carter, Mary Ann Mobley and Gary Collins as among the celebrities who passed away(in terms of who appeared on the All New BTC).

Patty DUke's passing last year meant a week of the 1979-80 season was the only week of Match Game 1973-82 on which all six panelists were deceased. Patti Deutsch's passing increases the number of such weeks to seven: She was the only living panelist on one week of MG75, one of MG76, two of MG77, and two of MG78. Patti and DOnald Ross had almost 50 years of marriage. THis Mitzi McCall and Charlie Brill, Bob and Ginny Newhart, and Wink and Sandy Martindale(recently married at the time) as three of the very few(maybe only three) couples from 70s Tattletales still married to each other.

I would like to ask this: How many surviving panelists from the 1973-1982 run of Match Game are remaining? I know Betty White, Bob Barker, Holly Hallstrom, Robert Pine, Loni Anderson, Elaine Joyce, Janice Pennington, and Anitra Ford are reportedly still alive.
